So maybe just tell her what you said... that you do like the way she keeps it, but it tends to get in the way when you eat her out.

I might suggest... ask her just to shave the labia... that might clear enough hair for when you're pleasing her, so it doesn't get in the way. I can say from personal experience, that on my body the mons is the worst part to shave... it gets the most irritation. But the labia are easy to shave, and don't get irritated at all (for me). So maybe ask her if you can try that before asking her to go bare?
