Menage a trois or Threesome

Does anybody know if a threesome is like commiting adultery? I need to know because I'm somewhat religious and thinking of getting involved in one involving me a, wife and husband:confused:

For your religion, what is a marriage?

For your religion, what is adultery?

Generally, husband and wife doing it is a marital act. Anyone else, adultery. Does not bother some; how about you? Of course if it is with your minister and his wife, you can ask as you take your pants off.

sex with someone your not married to = adultery
meh thats how i translate the bible

Legally, yes it is. But who is going to judge the other? Which spouse since they are both involved with the same person. Might make for a rather humorous argument in front of a Judge. As far as you? If you are not married it's not adultery for you, per say since you have to be a married individual to commit an act of adultery.

Only you can decide, I do not see how religion factors into your decision.

Does thi topic in New to Sex strike anyone else as odd?

Yes, it does, a bit!

Doubt?

In adultery I have always seen it as cheating in marriage but this im not so sure about because it involves relations with married people.

Anytime you attempt to break a "marital bond" it is considered wrong in any religion, and the same is interpreted by marital law. But you can not commit adultery if you are not married. Married people are not intended to have a sexual relationships outside of the marriage, regardless of religious backgrounds & according to law. Put differently, they are and you are not.

You would be screwing a married woman or, I guess, man.

To say it is anything else is splitting hairs (so to speak). Thank god I am not religious having to worry about this inconsequential stuff.

so if i decide to have a menage a trois with a married couple the ones who would be commiting adultery would be the married couple? I have always seen as adultery as anyone having relations with someone married or cheating with a married person.

Did you not read what I wrote? Only A MARRIED person can commit adultery. Applying the legal definition or religious is one in the same. If you blndslvr are married then yes you are, if you are not then technically no. You are engaging in premarital sex. If you are concerned about religion, any attempt by a third person to break the "marital bond" is deemed wrong.

Blndlvr, I think it could construed as a religious experience if that is what you need to hear...cuz you'll be hearing a lot of OH GAWDS during the session!!:)

In my religion, technically sex with anyone you aren't married to (even if you've never been married) is adultery. But I object to threesomes simply because I don't want to share!
