I guess i just wanted to start a thread that asks WOMEN, what they prefer from the GUY as far as trimming, shaving, plucking, whatever.
I have read some of the other shaving things, like for girls, and then guys bodies, but i wanted to ask exactly what are all of your preferences when it comes to a PENIS and what you like to see on a guy
thanks ladies, and if i missed a topic on this, i appologize, and a link would be much appreciated
thanks

well unfortunately it wasnt better to give than recieve last night, cause the girl i was with just didnt have the same sensitivity i am used to, lol. Man i went to TOWN on her, 110% effort, and nothing really seemed to get her off orally, or with my fingers, clit, g spot, nipples, nothing seemed to be sensitive on her, and im not really into getting too physical with females body parts, i feel like im gonna hurt them, so it kinda just went downhill.
oh well, i give myself an A+ for effort!
I'd rather not deal with a bush, so I prefer a trimmed or shaved cock and balls.
Oh, and QuidProQuo, it is definitely better to give than to receive! Makes me wonder what happens when two givers get together...?
am a guy so i wouldent no what girls would want but am shaved just cus u dont want your girl choking XD as well as you look bigger i say go for it
Well I suppose I would if a girl asked me, having a razor that close to
the viens on my balls makes me shudder.
I can just see explaining that to the emerg nurse har har
How would you do It? there too many blind spots?

I usually end up taking turns, as both my girlfriend and I prefer to give.

I lay down in the shower and go slowly. When I'm in the shower, I don't use shaving cream as it just washes off and clogs the drain; this means I can see what I'm doing. Move the razor slowly and stop the moment you feel a change in the usual shaving motion. Stop if you feel that you are nicking yourself. After a few tries it'll be just as easy as shaving your face.
I am a grooming finatic. I love my wife to stay trimmed and shaved, so I should expect no less from myself for her. While an original razor works, I have had nics and they aren't fun. It's also a timely process and sometimes results in ingrown hairs.
This is what I do after years of experince -
Before you begin, make sure your sack is warmmed up. It's much easier to shave than having it cold and all tight and pulled up.
I have great success starting with a Femini trimmer to get close. I can actauly touch myself and not get cut (which I cant say for every other razor of this design I've tried). If you do upkeep regularly, you will be able to skip the femini in the future. Next use a Seiko cleancut. This thing works like a champ. You can use it in the most senstive areas and have no problem at all as long as the hairs are fairly short to start (the reason you start with a femini). Your skin will be as smooth as a babys ass.
use a straight razor like barbers do...i dare you
Not too long and not too short. Trust me, both can ****ing hurt.
Oh my god that rhymed. I'm so impressed with myself tonight. =D

That's creepy.
Guys, just read this article "Real Men Don't Shave"
Guys, just read this article "Real Men Don't Shave"
yeah, well if a guy isn't willing to return the favor of self maitnence, then he better not expect it from his girl either
Trimmed only, thank you. Anything more and you look like someone who has not hit puberty yet. Talk about ICK!!
REAL MEN HAVE FUR
and if he's good, I'll do the trimming for him *wink*
The article you pointed us to is not going to win you many converts. A shaved chin is fine. A shaved penis and/or scrotum is not. And leave the rest of your body hair alone. No shaving (etc.) below the neck -- thank you.
Trimmed, shaved, whatever you want. If you like it, do it.

Fluffer, they 69. :)
Anyway.. I shave, to keep from hair going to my girlfriend mouth. In my opinion, that would be nasty! Also, i read somewhere that pubic hair carries a natural scent, i think its supposed to be attractive in someway? I dont think it is though.. but yes some guys shave because their penis seems to look a bit bigger when theres no hair covering. However, thats not a reason i shave, but its a good one :p
If he has to shave to make his penis visible, he has more problems than shaving will solve.
I no longer go smooth to please her. She said she could care less if I shave or not. She does like it better since I started trimming and shaving. But I prefer to keep it smooth since it feels better to me, so I now do it mostly for me but she doesn't complain either.
If you can pull of shaving, then go ahead. Otherwise I expect it to be trimmed very well. I hate the feeling of being on top, and when I come down on his hips I get rough, scraggly hair rubbing against my clit.
I return the favor!
The only thing I disliked about shaving was if I missed the followup shave (two days) and it got prickly and then found myself naked with my woman. I sure didn't want her to get all those prickles. If I went a week between shaves, it was fine and I didn't worry about the prickles. But now I keep myself waxed for a good two week period of no prickles and then the grow back isn't uncomfortable either. The two weeks to wait before waxing again is fun to have the fur back, but I'm ready to take it off after that to be smooth again.

Just a note. You have pubic hair, as well as hair under your arms, to control the odors that originate there. So removing all your hair in either of those places would require more deoderante/soap to make sure dont start smelling although everyone smells differently and of differing strengths. I usually just trim myself. The idea of shaving used to appeal to me but when I first tried it it was with a Bic Razor when I was 16. What. a. painful. mistake.
Mid 20's guy here...
I began shaving early on in college for sports - cycling/running and the like - Arms, legs, genitals, abs, chest. One of the girls I dated back then really liked it. After college and the sports obligation to shave ended I continued the practice though limiting it to chest, abs, now rear, and legs - I leave the arms alone. I have always felt a lot of hair to be unsanitary...I do have hygiene issues and shower twice a day.
I am straight...this has never been an issue for myself or anyone else. I have recieved compliments on my legs since they are muscular from cycling in partiuclar (which i continue, as well as running). I do not find the practice strange - if i saw another guy shaved I wouldn't think much of it - I knew plenty of guys who had to shave for sports back when and would probably assume that was the case.
I am not worried about appearing feminine. It is interesting to hear the comments by the female readers here. From my experiences women are a little iffy about it at first - then very much prefer it. I too prefer it, I feel cleaner - body odor is less likely without body hair.
For me the practice is relatively simple and does not take long so from a practical standpoint I feel its neither here nor there - shower taking 20-30 min with the shave, no big deal. I've become very good at it and there's no redness or issues - my skin is used to it. In fact - my dermatologist said it was helping with occasional dry skin that I get. She recommended that if I was comfortable with it, to continue shaving where I had been.
I sometimes let it grow back and then trim it ...then sometimes shave it again. Its something I prefer, but I can take it or leave it...if i began seeing a woman who did not prefer it - less work for me. If she does - i'm fine with that too.
Shaving yourself doesn't make you homosexual.
Sorry, mature humans have some fur. Immature ones don't.
I shave all of my body hair (except my arms) purely for cosmetic reasons. I'm muscular so it doesn't make me look like a pre-pubescent boy, it just makes me look clean. Sorry, but I'm shallow and I like being attractive. As far as trimming or shaving my pubic hair goes, I could go either way but tend to shave as it's quicker and easier. I expect the same from any woman - I'm not interested in dealing with hairy legs/armpits or a jungle of pubic hair.
OK EEK, you've made your point, you don't like shaved men. No problem, I'd rater be immature and pretty than the opposite. But there are still plenty of "mature" furry men out there for you. You might like this guy:
Oedi - could you possible not be silly? That poor fellow has a medical condition. Men = pretty? Okay "pretty boy"! Being a mature and masculinely handsome man is just not for you. Now this fellow is attractive!!
Now, EEK that is a GORGEOUS picture you put up! Drooling...:o
Oedi, your guy looks like he just gave the dog a bath! LOL!
Yes, sera - now THAT's a MAN! Excuse me.... something I have to take care of...
Hey Evil, where did you get my picture? lol. Real women go wild for hair, not like the other picture (the fur ball) but I have noticed women do not like that shaved off stuff. More complaints about razor stubble, mainly men do this to make themselves feel more comfortable rather then their partner. Once they had a real man, they never go back. Plus too much shaving and you have to fight the lady for the mirror. Hate to have a "beauty contest" with my lady.
Generalising about this is silly. Some women like men with body hair, some don't. Its personal preference only.
my girlfriend doesnt really like all my hair, but what are u gonna do
i trim a little bit with like a beard trimmer but thats it
23yo male
This seems to be personal preference. I dont like having ultra long hair, I use a hair buzzer and trim all my body hair so its a #2 or #3 and not obnoxiously long, and use the buzzer part to buzz down the hair on my ass. This way I dont have that bare look but it looks clean. I also completely shave the goods. I was convinced to do it by a girlfriend a few back, and everyone since raved over it. I have come across 1 girl who didnt like the idea that I have spoken with. I think the general consensus is that regardless of gender unless your from the 70s or yogi the bear, NOBODY likes a fully wild grown bush. Neat little landing strip on girls or a tiny tuft on men is always preferred over a nasty out of control and unclean looking wild bush which would grow if unmaintained.
Personally I speak with a lot more women that like it gone than any at all. As said it really depends on the partner as everyone has their own tastes. Its considered more odd for a woman who DOESN'T shave in todays generation than someone who does. The idea of men shaving too is somewhat taboo but quickly becoming more commonplace outside of porn.
Just like women I find I sweat less, and everything is much more comfortable. Everything is overall more attractive and clean looking. My girlfriend appreciates not getting a mouth/clit full of scruffy hair and I certainly feel the same for her. Now that shave now I would do it as a personal preference even if I was celebate, purely out of comfort for myself.
Hmmm tasty consider - you're working 12 hr shifts, three kids, a mortgage, a working wife, yardwork, house maintenance, car maintenance, your share of housework, biz trips, - all of the things men get to participate in - and you're still going to take the time to shave EVERYTHING off? Uh-huh. Good luck with that. This from a woman who can only find the time to shave my legs and under my arms every other day. Good lord is that the time? Gotta roll!
Its a part of my normal grooming procedure. I find the time to get my haircut and take showers to begin with. Time to trim and maintain is hardly that long and I spend no more than 2-3 minutes shaving the area. I MAKE the time because I enjoy the way it makes me feel and look. for something that takes so little of my time I hardly think its intrusive on my other tasks and goals. I take longer to shave my face. One thing people who start shaving or dont shave dont realize... is exactly how little effort and time it takes. People think it has to be shaved like its a piece of rice paper. If you ever watched me shave myself you would be shocked at how inprecise and rough I am with it. I havent cut myself once. You dont need to take it slow and after awhile I now take longer to shave my face. I use a mach 3 razor and an electric razor/buzzer. The funny thing too is I prefer a slightly dull blade over a fresh one. You really only cut yourself if you slide the blade sideways, if you can make a straight stroke then you wont cut yourself - slightly dull blades are just more forgiving to it. They also make me less prone to getting ingrown hairs.
Have you ever just completely shaved yourself for a few weeks or do you keep things wild or landing stripped? You would be surprised just how much more comfortable your clothes become. I feel like I used to wear 2 pairs of underwear and I dont sweat like crazy because of the extra insulation. You feel so much more clean
Shave or not shave is very subjective... no one is same, some might like shave/trim and others not. In average, diferent race has diferent concept. As example, shaving pubic hair is much more common with westeners than asians. I'm eurasian, i don't have much hair on my body but i do shave my pubic hair. My wife is european and she shaves also (legs arms and pubic hair). I didn't have the habit of shaving before but in the last 5 or 6 years yes. She didn't ask me do it, i decided myself because i can see she was removing my hair from her mouth in oral sex. She didn't complaint, but i decided myself to shave, first it might be more hygenic, second she might fell more comfortable in oral. She says it doesn't matter for her but she dees prefer see me shaved or trimed. I love to see a woman shaved/trimmed. With asians things are diferent (in average), most of them (males and female) don't shave. Shave or not shave is very personal and also a matter of culture.
Sorry for the poor english (not my first language)
Of course I have tried it. Ingrown hairs was my "reward" for being "smooth".
If you have ever had them, you'd never shave again either. Trim the hair, shower frequently, towel vigorously to remove whatever's loose and be done with it. Life is too short and if you're a man who is put off his stride by my bit of fur then you aren't man enough for me. 'Nuff said.
I shave it all off. I don't like the feeling of the hair and it feels a lot better and cleaner to me, also makes a difference since I'm an athlete.

eh, see I dont really get ingrown hairs anymore. if I do its few and far betwee, and not a big deal.
Do you get them when you shave your legs every time? Probably did when you started. Sounds like you just did it once and were displeased with the beginning repercussions. Its not that a man cant "handle" your tuft, It wouldnt stop me but its certainly much more of a turn on personally if a girl doesnt have any hair.
If you have a little hitler stache or a bikini strip its no big deal, if you have a wild bush that would actually turn me off because its gross looking. Its just unkept (do you like men who dont shave their face or cut their hair?)
I find it alot more comfortable to go down on, I dont have to have itchy hairs in my face and I dont get a mouthful or choke on them. Its less likely to hold odor and I am more compelled to go down again. Have you ever kissed someone with a beard/mustache?
For me I do it both out of personal comfort as well as for my partner who benefits from it even more.
The hair on my legs does NOT curl. Please. Beards and moustaches are lovely and so very useful! They are especially good during cunnilingus. I did say TRIMMED. Did you read my posts?

You have hairy legs evil?:p
Bingo. So the hairs dont curl but I bet when you first started they did. Same thing applies in other areas
Tasty if you haven't figured out yet that hairs on various parts of your body behave in different ways it is time for you to go and do some research.
Now sera, of course I don't have hairy legs.
You all are just being silly.

I really did not think you did, nor did I think it curled! I have yet to find curly hair on any woman's legs! Therefore, Tasty needs to figure out the patterns of normal hair growth!
lol
Im not saying I dont think the hairs are naturally curly, Im saying that the tendency of getting ingrown hairs is alot higher when your not used to it or try to shave too often irritating the skin. Hell grow yours out and braid it in cornrows or get some dreads if you want... Im simply saying that ingrown hairs were a problem for me when I first started, but not anymore. Your results may vary, but shaving 1 time isnt the end all explanation of what will always happen. Do as you please and feel as you may, I just wanted to make sure that wasnt your entire opinion on what happens. If that was the case we would see alot of lumpy porn stars!
There is a reason why pubic hair is known as the "short and curlies" - because they are and they do.

Professional waxing for hair removal works wonders! If you wish to be hair free without ingrown "hairs" this is the best method to date I have found and it lasts a long time, unlike shaving. Braiding? Corn rows? Ughhh....LOL! Teasing you.

Would asking my girlfriend to wax me be a bad idea? :D

HOW TO ROLL BLUNTS
Drew, sera neglected to mention one little item - waxing HURTS!!!!!
They dust on a bit of powder, pour or brush on the hot wax, press onto that a fabric or paper film, rub a bit and then holding one end, they grab the other end and RIIIIP!
Then again, I'll just ask her if she can shave me...

Shaving leave you all prickly and the hair is growing again as soon as it gets shaved. Although it's the best thing I've tried so far. I've recently ordered a epilator, I know that it's going to hurt like hell, but I'll give it a shot, and let you know if it works.
Would asking my girlfriend to wax me be a bad idea? :D
Yes very bad unless you enjoy torture. It does not hurt if done by a good professional, it's at the worst parts uncomfortable! Yes, it's a rip but heck I have had worse! Don't have to shave my legs, arms, or bikini area for many weeks!!! GF? Only if you two are really kinky into S&M...LOL
Just give going bare a try for awhile and see if you like it or not. The first time I shaved just some of my pubic hair off I really liked doing it and the look and feel after I finished. When it started to grow back in it was itching and uncomfortable, so that put a damper on it for awhile. But I went back to shaving part of my pubic hair because I liked the feel and look for me and did make the wife notice. She could care less if I am smooth or hairy. When I let it grow in I do keep it trimmed, but that hasn't happened for awhile now. I used to leave a patch on top but during the summers, always go totally bare and this winter I think I will keep it bare. I like to wax the top part and keep the scrotum shaved. Waxing the scrotum didn't work for me, too painful, but works great up top. So with the waxing I do get growth back of about a quarter of an inch before waxing again.
It really is a personal preference. I know EEK likes her and her men with some fur. I like myself bare, my wife likes to shave but leaves fur around the labia and a little mound up top. Works for me as long as she keeps it trimmed. Not as enjoyable when she lets it get too long.
If you're a man and you try an epilatorto get rid of body hair, you're going to need balls of steel. Get ready to cry gentlemen, I know I almost did:D
