Oh it was interesting. I had been invited to go as an extra with another group. Flight planning to get there was horrible-some people left the 8th and went thru madrid where they were stranded because of weather and a strike. Some went thru Paris with a 10 hr layover then fly to Rome then to Cairo. Some went to Paris for an hour then flew to Rome and waited 10 hrs. I went to paris, waited 4 hrs then went to Rome for 7 hrs. had breakfast with my niec and her BF in Paris. In Rome had time to eat in a trattoria , see a little of downtown. Had absolutley no time for site-seeing in Alexandria, had a day off in Cairo. Egypt is MUCH more 3rd world than Mexico. Interesting to visit tho and I would go back as a tourist if I could take my time and really get to know it.
Glad to see you are back online
