Usually I dont wanna do anything and neither does the boyfriend. On a good day near the end of it all maybe in the shower but thats about it. Im usually too crampy and bloated to even think about anything sexual, and it just doesnt float his boat.

I adore menstrual sex and regret that menopause is getting in the way. Whatever my partner is willing, I welcome. Very few partners I have had, either men or women, have been hesitant. Make certain you remove a tampon thirty minutes or so ahead of penetration or you will be very dry. With a woman partner, leave it in.

The last day or two were good but definitely not the first one or two...no sex, no way, & don't get near me. The last few days, it was no big deal since cramps were over. Now, no issue...menopausal. If he was comfortable with it so be it...just no oral though, I think I would have been too strange about trying that one, so was never discussed. Overall, I found the matter is usually more of an issue to the man.

We don't typically do a whole lot, although that's not exactly policy, it's just how it goes. We do have a special towel for times that I DO disrobe and receive, but very often I end up staying clothed and focusing on him, or he'll do a few things through my clothing to avoid much of a mess. I would never request oral of him at that time, but then, giving oral is such a personal preference, I often find myself shying away from requesting it at all.

Okay, I started this so I guess I would weigh in.

With my first boy friend it was no way, no how. But with my current boy friend (#2) when I told him I was on he was very supportive and told me if I preferred not to do anything it was okay with him. I didn't have any problem with me giving him oral though. Finally on the next to the last day we were making out kissing and he was touching me through my clothes and I felt myself getting very excited. I whispered in his ear that I really wanted him but I would understand if he didn't want to. It wasn't two seconds and he was pulling off my jeans and panties and we were doing "it". Ever since that time we have stayed away from sex the first couple days of my period but after that we are both okay with it.

Before I was on birth control, the thought of sex while on my period seemed absolutely horrible because I was so heavy and crampy. However, since being on birth control, I have a lighter, shorter period and do not suffer the same discomfort so sex is fine. It all depends on how my partner feels about doing it while I'm on. My current partner doesn't seem to mind. I am comfortable and enjoy it as long as he does. But I do tend to get really dry on the last day or two of my period for whatever reason, so then it can sometimes be uncomfortable without the use of lube.

I don't ask him to perform oral though, but do allow him to finger me and everything else. We put a towel down to take care of any mess.

I'm too crampy and generally uncomfortable. I want an orgasm but I don't want any penetrative, partnered sex during my period. That's when my sexy husband and I get to pleasure ourselves solo, with an audience of course!
