Gay's having straight crushes

Okay yes this is a random poll but I am kinda curious. How many people out there (Gays and lesbians) Have ever had a straight crush. Because to me it seems like the two gay men I know have crushes (Well it seems more like a down right obsession) with two of my best girl friends. And its kind of annoying because I have to pretty much book any hang out times weeks in advance because they plan hang out with them and call dibs on their weekeds like two weeks early.

With no sexual interest it's just a friendship, even if it's a very close one. I can think back in my past with one case that might have bordered on sexual interest but never advanced. Otherwise, no.

In college I hung out with several gay males. If I had to go somewhere and bring a date I would usually take one of them. They knew how to behave yet have a good time. I was so Grace.

And in behave I mean not freak if I talked to another male. They dressed nice, so stereotypical I know, but they did. And they weren't on the lookout for someone to hit on. I loved it when another girl/woman would try to get their attention, away from me, and get totally shot down.

As for gays having straight crushes. I know lots who have gone and gotten married trying to block out being gay. There are ones who have divorced and then found a partner, there are ones that are still married and have a lover on the side and there are ones that are married and faithful.
