Aloneaz, the main thing is to see them as fun, even funny. Don't treat them as some kind of power tool!
One option is to buy one as a gift. There are lots of cute toys out there, start with one of them. Nothing too phallic, you want to start out with something just for clitoral stimulation. We have lots of toys, but the vibrating egg is still a firm favourite for my wife and is very non-threatening.
The best option is probably just to bring it up, to talk to her about it, probably during or after making love. If you phrase it as 'I'd love to try a little toy that vibrates on you sometime', rather than 'what do you think about sex toys?' she's more likely to be willing to try the idea. People can have the misconception that toys are about big realistic, scary, dildos, or, if they watch Sex and the City, the Rampant Rabbit (which is great but again, BIG). Start small and cute.
Showing her a friendly sex toy website might be something to try. My favourite in the UK is
www.lovehoney.co.uk. I don't know about US ones.
