Which turns you on more? (women)

It's no secret that many, many women base a large part of whether they like a guy or not on what type of vehicle he drives- this is purely out of curiosity, so here it goes-

Do you like lifted trucks or lowered trucks? or neither? It would be good also if you could post what your answer was, so I can compile a couple of stats as far as women of one area having a different opinion than those in another.

thanks girls!

Example (lowered): http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2685188

Example (lifted): http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2094577

*Both trucks started out looking the same, to keep variables low

I hardly base my opinion of a man on what he drives and I have no idea where you're getting your statistics. If the vehicle were to enter into the equation at all, I'd rather he have an energy and oil-efficient car rather than an SUV or truck unless he needs a working truck or something to haul with. And by the way, jacking up your car can screw up not only your suspension system, but can also play merry hell with the transmission if not done right. I vetoed several pickup trucks because they'd been jacked up before, and if I'm going to be hauling 8,000lbs. of horse trailer and horses, I want the truck to be equal to it.

This is probably the most bizarre survey question I've ever answered.

I have to have a truck for my job..and I think any guy will admit that ultimately, the point of modifying a vehicle is because girls like it- just curious about which most like...and if girls in the south like lifted, or up north, or whatever. Weird, maybe...but I'm into modifying my trucks and curious about which one girls like.

I really don't think any girls actually care either way. A truck is utilitarian - made to do it's job, not to look pretty. You can put all the flamethrowers and gimcrackery on it that you want, but in the end it's still a truck. Unless you're planning on riding around town in a monster truck, I doubt many people would even look twice...

And lifting/lowering a truck? This sounds dangerously close to ricer material. Chicks DEFINITELY don't like that... Except maybe for comedic relief.

As a woman I do not care if he lifted or lowered his truck...all I look at is his car/truck clean & how does he take care of it. I prefer those who do not modify vehicles. There are reasons why they are built to specifications...does one vehicle turn me on? No. However, I do expect at my age a man to have a decent vehicle.

hmm...you ladies must not be young (college-age) southern chicks i guess, because they love it down here...i'm mostly curious as to whether it's seen the same all over the country, or as being 'silly' or something like that in other areas (I see a lot of cars on TV in Cali with different colored rims and think it looks dumb, so I understand that people out there may think lifting a truck is stupid lol)

I don't like trucks so I wouldn't care. Now if you're taking sports/racing type cars...(think The Fast and the Furious) modded ones are hot...but I'm not going to base a relationship on the car he drives. But if there were two men, equal looks and personality...if one was driving a truck and the other was driving a sports car, I'd pick the sports car hands down. I dislike trucks, they're gas guzzling and where I'm from only red-necks drive them. No offense just where I'm from driving a truck makes you a "farm boy" and I don't like that.

And I am college age, but not southern.

I am not young as college age...42. I was always more attracted to sports cars...fast, speed, and handling. Not in Cali...actually NY. I have a SUV myself & a sports car. When I was younger...used to fiddle with my Camaro putting "accessories" on...never jacked the back end up...bad enough handling in rain! Many around here have trucks or SUV's...sort of need to due to the weather and hauling.

Okay, after a bit of thought...Up looks better. The lower looks like your trying to turn your truck into a PTO cruiser. I think on trucks higher looks better...as long as you are not building a beast to go on "Monster-trucks". Wider tires, sharper rims, & lift kit...should suffice. In the Southern states I know they are big...but the low jack look does not appeal to me. Also if you are tall it might look sort of silly. Redneck? Not really too big around here unless you go to some obsolete town in the midst of nowhere in the US...

Fast and The Furious? Dear God! Those are what people affectionately refer to as ricers - cheap vehicles with cheap modifications that make the car "look faster" without actually being faster. It's pretty damn silly. But on the plus side, you too can make your very own ricer on the cheap! Just buy a crappy Japanese car and add stickers! And punch a hole in the muffler so it's LOUD!

I don't think trucks are really that bad on gas mileage. Why does anyone even care about other people's fuel economy? I drive pretty "sports cars" and get 8-10 mpg! You don't hear me complaining...

Personally I'm into the whole tailfin thing of the late '50's and early '60's. No modifications required for those.

Anyway, I agree that lifting is less offensive to the eye than lowering when it comes to trucks...
