Im not sure what this term means, but was told by an old S/O it means making love with his or her clothes on. Is that a correct assumption? Personally Ive made love to girls while in their panties, lingerie, miniskirts and so on. Do any other people do this? Any respomse would help!

"Dry humping," "dry sex," or "dry f*king" are all the same act. It entails going through the motions of sex while still clothed. Having sex with a woman who still has some clothing on is a different beast entirely.

I've never seen the attraction, personally.

Dry humping can be very erotic, and safer than sex with condoms as far as STDs. This assumes of course that you're rubbing against each other but there is still no genital contact. The term of dry humping is like you mentioned and by others, basically rubbing against each other like having intercourse, only with clothes on.
