Can I ask what exactly you do believe about the Christian religion? Or perhaps more accurately, what is it that you accept about it?

How do you know I am ignorant and stupid? Because I disagree with the liberal agenda? I choose to say your are just misguided in your thinking. Now its all fine and dandy to discuss things like religion, abortion, gay marriage and so on. But we are not talking about the most important thing and that is the saftey of this nation and having a leader that isn't afraid to lead. Here is an artical that I found to be very interesting: Democrat Zell Miller of Georgia brought up a number of great points concerning Senator Kerry during his recent speech at the Republican National Convention where he crossed party lines in support of President Bush. Below are some excerpts from Senator Miller's speech we need to carefully consider before we cast our votes in November: Like you, I believe that the next four years will determine what kind of world they will grow up in. And like you, I ask which leader is it today that has the vision, the willpower and, yes, the backbone to best protect my family? The clear answer to that question has placed me in this hall with you tonight. For my family is more important than my party. There is but one man to whom I am willing to entrust their future and that man's name is George Bush. No one should dare to even think about being the Commander in Chief of this country if he doesn't believe with all his heart that our soldiers are liberators abroad and defenders of freedom at home. But don't waste your breath telling that to the leaders of my party today. In their warped way of thinking America is the problem, not the solution. They don't believe there is any real danger in the world except that which America brings upon itself through our clumsy and misguided foreign policy. It is not their patriotism - it is their judgment that has been so sorely lacking. They claimed Carter's pacifism would lead to peace. They were wrong. They claimed Reagan's defense buildup would lead to war. They were wrong. And, no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry. Together, Kennedy/Kerry have opposed the very weapons system that won the Cold War and that is now winning the War on Terror. Listing all the weapon systems that Senator Kerry tried his best to shut down sounds like an auctioneer selling off our national security but Americans need to know the facts. The B-1 bomber, that Senator Kerry opposed, dropped 40% of the bombs in the first six months of Operation Enduring Freedom. The B-2 bomber, that Senator Kerry opposed, delivered air strikes against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Hussein's command post in Iraq. The F-14A Tomcats, that Senator Kerry opposed, shot down Khadifi's Libyan MIGs over the Gulf of Sidra. The modernized F-14D, that Senator Kerry opposed, delivered missile strikes against Tora Bora. The Apache helicopter, that Senator Kerry opposed, took out those Republican Guard tanks in Kuwait in the Gulf War. The F-15 Eagles, that Senator Kerry opposed, flew cover over our Nation's Capital and this very city after 9/11. I could go on and on and on: Against the Patriot Missile that shot down Saddam Hussein's scud missiles over Israel, Against the Aegis air-defense cruiser, Against the Strategic Defense Initiative, Against the Trident missile, against, against, against. This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces? U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs? Senator Kerry has made it clear that he would use military force only if approved by the United Nations. Kerry would let Paris decide when America needs defending. I want Bush to decide. John Kerry, who says he doesn't like outsourcing, wants to outsource our national security. That's the most dangerous outsourcing of all. This politician wants to be leader of the free world. Free for how long? For more than twenty years, on every one of the great issues of freedom and security, John Kerry has been more wrong, more weak and more wobbly than any other national figure. As a war protestor, Kerry blamed our military. As a Senator, he voted to weaken our military. And nothing shows that more sadly and more clearly than his vote this year to deny protective armor for our troops in harms way, far-away. George Bush understands that we need new strategies to meet new threats. John Kerry wants to re-fight yesterday's war. George Bush believes we have to fight today's war and be ready for tomorrow's challenges. George Bush is committed to providing the kind of forces it takes to root out terrorists. No matter what spider hole they may hide in or what rock they crawl under. George Bush wants to grab terrorists by the throat and not let them go to get a better grip. From John Kerry, they get a "yes-no-maybe" bowl of mush that can only encourage our enemies and confuse our friends. I first got to know George Bush when we served as governors together. I admire this man. I am moved by the respect he shows the First Lady, his unabashed love for his parents and his daughters, and the fact that he is unashamed of his belief that God is not indifferent to America. I can identify with someone who has lived that line in "Amazing Grace," "Was blind, but now I see," and I like the fact that he's the same man on Saturday night that he is on Sunday morning. He is not a slick talker but he is a straight shooter and, where I come from, deeds mean a lot more than words. I have knocked on the door of this man's soul and found someone home, a God-fearing man with a good heart and a spine of tempered steel. The man I trust to protect my most precious possession: my family. Did Senator Miller treat John Kerry fairly in making the statements he did? Yes. In fact, he took evidence with him to the podium at the Republican National Convention to show anyone who challenged his views of Kerry and has taken it with him wherever he has gone in the aftermath. Zell Miller, a remnant of what was once a respectable political party to support, knows the liberal media, which spins everything to the left (with the exception of Fox News), is going to be crawling all over him for scolding Senator Kerry, trying to portray him as a disgruntled Democrat - a charge I doubt he'd deny! Who could blame an old-school Democrat like Zell Miller for being upset at his party for selecting a man like John Kerry to be its candidate for the highest office in the land? We are living in very perilous times, as I continue to document on the news page of this website. This alone should guide us toward voting for President Bush in November as he is the only candidate for President who has the courage to act as though we're living in perilous times! John Kerry certainly doesn't! As demonstrated in an World Tribune article reproduced on Hal Lindsey's website, John Kerry is already planning to work with the European Union to offer Iran a deal to keep its nuclear reactors, in spite of the fact Iran, according to a Detroit Free Press article, is planning to process more than 40 tons of uranium into uranium hexafluoride gas, an intermediate step in enriching uranium which will result in enough weapons-grade material for Iran to make four or five warheads! That anyone would be willing to allow Iran to have access to anything nuclear simply blows my mind! The Iranians have only one type of nuclear power in mind which they would need nuclear reactors for: Nuclear weapons! In President Bush's Republican nomination acceptance speech, he made the following comments: I believe the most solemn duty of the American president is to protect the American people. If America shows uncertainty and weakness in this decade, the world will drift toward tragedy. This will not happen on my watch. President Bush is right. If we budge one inch in the war on terrorism, the world is going to drift toward tragedy. The tragedy of which President Bush is speaking, I fear, will first strike here - in the land of the free and the home of the brave - if we don't choose wisely in November. President Bush has given us his word it won't happen on his watch and I believe him. Since September 11th, President Bush, in spite of what his critics assert, has produced results. In his speech of 9-2-04, the President said, speaking of the war on terror: "Our strategy is succeeding. Four years ago, Afghanistan was the home base of al-Qaida, Pakistan was a transit point for terrorist groups, Saudi Arabia was fertile ground for terrorist fundraising, Libya was secretly pursuing nuclear weapons, Iraq was a gathering threat, and al-Qaida was largely unchallenged as it planned attacks. Today, the government of a free Afghanistan is fighting terror, Pakistan is capturing terrorist leaders, Saudi Arabia is making raids and arrests, Libya is dismantling its weapons programs, the army of a free Iraq is fighting for freedom, and more than three-quarters of al-Qaida's key members and associates have been detained or killed." John Kerry, as some of you may recall, believes we can fight a more 'sensitive' war on terror. Vice President Cheney doesn't, as shown in a Talon News article. Cheney has said, "America has been in too many wars for any of our wishes, but not a one of them was won by being sensitive." "A "sensitive war" will not destroy the evil men who killed 3,000 Americans and who seek the chemical, nuclear and biological weapons to kill hundreds of thousands more." "The men who beheaded Daniel Pearl and Paul Johnson will not be impressed by our sensitivity," Cheney added. In Ecclesiastes 3:8, we're told there's a time of peace and a time of war. Make no mistake about it, this is a time of war! We can either stand up to evil with President Bush or we can try to appease it by electing John Kerry.

john kerry has the most liberal voting record in the US senate. now to some of you that might be a good thing but i don't want to live in a country where the UN dictates our national policy, where there is socialized medicine, the EPA running amok telling private landowners they can't cut down trees on THIER OWN PROPERTY because some owl might go extinct, you can't drive an SUV, you can't own a gun, taxes through the roof, nationalized industry, welfare state, blatantly pushing leftist ideals on school children (and punishing or ostracizing those who think differently), a completly declawed military, and of course terrorists walking all over us because they know that the kind sensitive liberal john kerry will never do anything to offend the middle east, especially without express permission from the United Nations.
it's quite logical that most of europe wants kerry elected. after all most of that continent is borderline Marxist anyway.....why wouldn't they want a keep company with a US president who shares thier collective dream of a global "workers paradise". Actually i'm downright flattered that all these countries in europe hate us. i take it as a compliment. notice they insult us, but whenever something bad happens in thier hemisphere....who do they come crying to every time? hey, next time you guys need to be rescued from the Germans don't bother asking us. deal? |

Zell Miller. *More Republican schizophrenia. *He's wonderful because he changed sides to endorse the GOP, but Kerry, because he may have changed his mind once or twice over a long political career, "flip-flops". *PLEASE!!
Dubya garners support because he panders to simplistic ideals. *Yes, we ALL love America. Yes, we ALL love our freedom. *Yes, we ALL want to feel safe in our own homes. *We ALL love children and want them safe and well educated. *BUT America doesn't occupy this globe alone. *As powerful as we are, we can't exist in a vacuum. * Don't tell me in order to be patriotic that I have to condone the killing of anyone who disagrees with American politics. *Don't tell me that in order to be a true American I have to support some government sponsored idea of religion. *Don't tell me that Americans are fighting and dying for freedom around the globe while this regime at home is trying to take MY FREEDOM away!! The Republicans are about nothing BUT taking away freedom. *If you don't follow with their agenda, your rights don't exist. *Sounds like the 1930's all over again to me... except this time, the bad guys are right here in America and this time they are very powerful.

did anyone mention the fact that the Bush family has been long time friends w/ the Bin Laden family?
they are old oil buddies. after 911, as soon as planes were allowed to leave the ground, Bush had all of the Bid Laden family swept away out of the US and back to their home. i think thats why Bush tried to distract us and go after Sadam. even tho he had nothing to do w/ 911.

What I understand from Norinco's post then is:
1) The USA should not to engage and debate with the international community and meddle in global politics where and when it chooses by its own means. 2) Deforestation and species extinction are OK. 3) Further deplete fossil fuels by driving ever more inefficient cars isn't such a big deal either. 4) A welfare state, such as (gasp) free healthcare for all is a bad idea. 5) Europe is essentially a communist utopia that always calls for help from across the Atlantic whenever the Germans feel hemmed in and need a little lebensraum. 6) Every single European hates Americans. 7) The Democrats being such a soft touch will let terrorists walk all over them, never mind who was in charge in 2001. 8) Even though the conflicts since the beginning of the 21st centaury have shown that the mightiest military force in history can be brought to a halt by lightly armed militia in street battles, billions of dollars should continue to be spent on over-arming the military with a 20th centaury-style armoury for 20th centaury-style conflicts. Just wanted to clarify that I read that post correctly. *sigh* |
