First off, I'm a male.
Well, I mastubate quite a bit (normally daily) and I noticed that I had... how do I put this... wore some of the skin away. It was kind of like a small scrape. I figured I was just doing it too much, and then went cold turkey for about a week and a half. It kinda scabbed over, then went away. Back to masturbating. However, after a few days (and a couple of times) it "wore away" again. So, basically, I can masturbate at the same rate, just with some concequences. Should I slow down? Is that normal? Help me out, please.

Masurbation Issues

Use a lubricant and a light grazing hand action instead of gripping the shaft and rubbing the skin raw.

Maybe you have a callus that you didn't have before, or you changed the motion or something. Don't break it man! Its the only one that you've got!
It won't break. What's happening is that he is rubbing and continuing to rub one of the hotspots. The hotspots are supplying a lot of pleasure, so much so that a guy can't stop rubbing that spot and this results in a chafing of the skin, a bit of blood, and a scab. If he continues to rub over the scab during another session, a couple of things are likely: first, the hot spot will do its thing, the pain of rubbing the sore spot will add to the intensity of the sensations helping to jump start an orgasm; and third, you're likely to reopen an old wound, thus taking even more time to heal. Ya gotta just decide whether it is worth the extra boost of pleasure or better to hold off on that hotspot until it heals completely. This is not unlike the decision of whether to masturbate three times a day or hold off on the extra one or two for a day enduring some extra pent up stress and anxiety in favor of a bigger pay off, tomorrow.
Sorry doc, just a joke :)
