masterbation/working out

i used to masterbate queit a bit but when i do it like a hour before i work out i lose all intesnsity but when i dont im a machine. I LOVE LIFTING WEIGHTS and so i dont masterbate anymore. point is why do i lose it if i masterbate before a work out.

p.s also when i masterbated every time i do it i feel like i did something bad why is that. im 17

How long have you managed to go since you last masturbated?

I ask because for most teens your age, lasting more than a few days is about all we can tolerate before finally eventually giving in. How long depends upon sex drive and how we are wired. So, I'm just curious. Even if you are successful in not masturbating any more or only once in a great while, I'd be surprised if having a Nocturnal Emission wouldn't eventually equalize matters.

Rather than not masturbating at all, period, I recommend moderating when you do do it. If you know you are going to lift weights at 4:30 in the after noon, do not masturbate past noon. Substitute your own time lines.

As for feeling bad, or that by masturbating you are doing something wrong or bad, or evil, this notion usually comes from some information picked up in your life. Did you parents or other relatives mention that masturbating is wrong, etc. Did school teachings proclaim this? What about religious or church teachings?

The answer is explained in the article. Basically, consider that your body is storing up lots of the chemicals that comprise your semen. This is not unlike having a full reservoir of water and the spillway gates at the dam open; or, not unlike having a huge tank of domestic water on a tall hill, both of which develop a strong "head". This is why you sometimes see water tank trailers up on stilts at a building site. You get more pressure than if the same tank was on the ground--especially if the quantity of water is very small.

As this applies to us, consider that if you masturbate three times in a row as in a multiple, the first is very strong, the second not quite, the third even less so. At some number determined by each individual your body will refuse to respond for several hours. After several hours you can probably have another climax; however, if you hold off for a day or two and build up a reserve, your orgasms will intensify.
