Safflower oil right from the grocery with a few drops of your favorite essence - oraange, almond, patchouli, whatever,, preferably as oil but the extract works well. If you want something a little heavier use unprocessed sesame oil - also from the grocer but do not get the oriental version because it is processed. It has good flavor but is not a good massage oil.

I wish I did. There is a store nearby that sells the essential oils yet they have no recipes, so I did a Google search "massage oil recipes" and got a bunch of resources. I just have to decide to brew something up; maybe this weekend....
