HPV is actually the Human Papoloid(spelling) Virus. I do not believe it is in the herpes family and a very high percentage of the popluation has this virus(over 75% last I read). This is one of the most common if not the most common "STD." I know many couples in which one partner has this and the other has never contracted it as the other is very dilligent about ensuring they have no "warts" present. There are indeed some extreme cases and some "light" cases. Part of managing this is your diet. The worse your diet the worse the symptoms usually are because your interal environment seems to be friendly to the virus vs a healthy diet that presents a slightly alkaline environment in which the virus is generally supressed. My 2 cents.

Bruins...we are not all that stupid. HPV and HSV are not synonymous. Yeah, he's been faithful--keep wishing, these diseases just popped up?. Don't post contradicting medical diagnosis, other's such as kids read them & might believe it. Trust me...I am not lying neither is Brandye. Read her post.
HPV is not the problem with childbirth, it's the HSV. You can have it and not have any active lesions at the time of birth. HPVII is venereal warts. HSV is Herpes Genital Lesions. If this just cropped up it's new, if you have known since you met him, then it's old. They have in common both are Viruses, both are separate. Put your head back in the sand as you wish. Condoms & be prepared for a c-section.

"Reread my post. HPV and Herpes are different families of virus. There are about a hundred HPV variants and a couple dozen herpes." Honestly, I feel pity. I have the impression you almost enjoy being miserable and will do nearly anything to be there. You never post on the positives. You have filled us in on all the horrible stuff he has done, then you marry him & get pregnant again. All this just after you said he abandoned you when you had your first child together and left you to isolated in the hospital with a very ill child; then you find these calls to some chick. Now all this? And you legally married him to boot & complain about the marriage. Did not see the writing on the wall? And now this? It just makes me say, what are you doing?

I looked for the other sheet which Brandye wrote...cannot find it. Here is the CDC sheet:
http://www.cdc.gov/std/Herpes/default.htm http://www.cdc.gov/std/hpv/default.htm Please note the described differences when you read the links one is blistering and the other are warts. This is the CDC information of the differences between them. Please look at them for your safety and precautions. Here is some info from JAMA on the potential risks: http://www.health-science-report.com...s6/article201/ Here is Brandyes::: "It is estimated that more than half the population of industrial nations are carriers of HPV. There are about 100 different strains of HPV and most of them seem to do nothing. There are four strains that are linked to cervical cancer. Although not all women who are infected develop cervical cancer and not all cervical cancer is caused by these four strains, the statistical relationship is very strong. The chances are that with very few, but more than one, unprotected sex partners, we will each contract HPV. During our younger years, our own immune systems will defeat the HPV. By about thirty, we no longer fight it off. The result may be cervical cancer - many years later. You switch topics from HPV to herpes. That is an entirely different topic. Herpes virus also come in various strains; some are simply cold sores and some are the genital herpes classified as a sexually transmitted disease. While you are seeing your doctor, try to get this straightened out in your own mind. HPV is NOT herpes. It would be very rare to transmit HPV to a child through vaginal birth. Herpes is another issue. Your confusion is causing you unnecessary concern. Get educated." Now, I highly doubt Brandye is untruthful nor is the CDC.
