Wow. I tried something like this with my wife once, but she didn't really get into it. I think I was doing it wrong, but I'm not sure. What I do know is that when she gets "driven mad with lust" she's not into waiting around 'cause she wants to get down to business. Frankly, I'm game for trying this again and seeing if it works, but we'll see.....

Don't want to step on EEK's toes here, but I know a bit about massage and I'd think it would apply for this as well- and if not, I'm glad to be corrected! The thing about oils designed specifically for massage is that they are light and absorb into the skin easily without leaving stickiness or residue. Every part of their composition is meant to be absorbed, from the carrier oil to the specific herbal oils that are added in in very small quantities. I like to blend my own oils, but you can get them already mixed up for you over the web or even sometimes from places like Bath and Body Works. The advantage to blending my own is that I know exactly what's in it and have no problem licking it, but if you go with store-bought, just read the label, maybe taste a bit on your finger if you're so inclined, and decide whether you want to go with that or with a flavored one.
The problem with lubricants is that they may not be so light and residue-free; I know that even my favorite, Astroglide, does leave some stickiness and feels heavy on my hands. You probably don't want to use that as a massage oil because the point here is not to get a nice body rub and then have to jump in the shower. It's up to you and your partner, but for massage sessions with The Boy, I prefer to use my oils and leave the lube for massaging elsewhere. Last edited by JustAGirl; 08-02-2007 at 03:08 PM.. |

I use mineral oil for body massages which can be licked but does tend to leave some residue behind and lubricant, Astroglide or KY, for intercourse. But you can use whatever you feel comfy with. I know one man who uses Johnson's Baby oil for both applications. Blech but he likes it.
If just massaging without intercourse afterwards I use scented oils that I mix myself. My favorite for me is Attar of roses with Tabac and for men cedar and geranium. |

If'n you are a city dweller, look round for a bath shop or a botique for these items. Depending upon the shop, they may stock massage oils. Also, if you know a massage therapist (as I do) ask her what she recommends and where she purchases her products.
You can also consult online stores and see what they have to offer. I agree that using an oil designed for the skin is best because this type of oil will not leave an residue. You can wipe your hands later and not find a trace of it, unlike cooking/salad oil for example. I would continue to use a bath towel for the person to lie on. Adding a couple of drops of an essence is a nice addition. If you find a large bottle of oil, you can always divide it up. Pharmacies should have small plastic squirt bottles or bottles with an eye dropper cap for sale. These work very will and store easily in a nightstand. Place the large bottle away in a cupboard somewhere.
