I've "been" with someone for roughly 2 1/2 years now (I've known him a few months longer but we started our interested around 2 1/2 years ago) and I consider that long-term in ways. We aren't exactly together. We're more of friends with benefits. But seeing as I have issues keeping friends in general that long, I consider him a bit long term, if at the very least in the sense of friends. If I was actually dating someone, I dunno. I see 6 months as a long time (and I'm in my mid 20s) so perhaps I'll go with that.
