Those psychics are generally bsing to you. While I do belive in that stuff, and have had it done for me, it was through use of Tarot and runes by those that I trust and knew were good. Whose who work for those phone psychics are usually just there to earn some money. Their asnwers will be rather vague, they will make stuff up, listen to your reaction, and generally bs you to keep you on the phone longer, or make you call back antoher time. They say things that amount to being equilent to me saying to someone living in places like Chicago that " it will snow this year". And that is what a friend told me who worked for this.
I would suggest that you don't lieten to it, becuase if you keep feeling like that, the bs will come true. Also, anything can happen, you getting the reading might change everything, you deciding to get girl a flower might change everything. "Destiny" is not set in stone, your every choice changes it. And quit wasting time and money on that bs. If you really want semi-decent reading, pick up a good Tarot book and a set of tarot cards and learn yourself.

my friend went to one, and the lady said she would die in a week, then went to a different one, and she was told the same thing. sooo she went paranoid and thought she was going to die. and she didnt die. how can you predict the future?

As for my personal take on psychics I agree with Trivium. What were all these people who see the future seeing on the days before 9/11? For me, people like Sylvia Browns credibility was shot down 100% after that. Yep, sure was..

well.........this is gonna sound strange.....but i do believe in them but because i do have some ability. however my abillity only lies in actually physically seeing and being with the person. phone psychics therefore i dont believe in, if you really want to get advice, go to someone in person whome u have heard has a good reputation maybe through a friend of family member.
please dont listen to that, psychics give information on an outcome, yet some times the outcome can be changed!

The thing with psychics is they say something, and then you go off and "seek" it without even really knowing that you're doing it, and then it of course comes true, and then you go "wow, that psychic was right" when in fact, they weren't. You just followed their "prediction" and made it come true.
