Ok my girlfriend doesn't really care for sex right now, she can go months without it, and I can't take it shes 17 and i'm 18, so okay thats fine and all...but I was wondering is this the prime? 17-20? when she will be the horniest for sex? Or will this happen later? Because if this is the horniest she will be then I might as well give up on the sex...someone please elaborate on a womans sex life-cycle...is 20-25 the highest stages of horniness and willingness to have sex? what does it mean for a woman to be in her sexual prime at age 30? thanks guys..

The great thing about the world is that everyone is different. Unfortunately, it can also be a frustrating thing. My wife is like your girlfriend. Most of the time I don't think the thought of sex even enters her mind. As we have aged (married 16 years) sex has definately become better, if not more frequent. I think I can safely say that my sex drive is as strong as it was when I was 16.
Some people, as is obvious from reading this board, are the opposite. Is it chemical, mental, or physical? If I could figure out why (and how to fix it) I could be rich and adored by millions .
You have to decide how you can personally cope with it. I love my wife enough to stick through the lean times. Later in life, if you are still together, your roles may be reversed (who says God doesn't have a sense of homor?). She may change sooner or later, she may not. It's not much of an answer, I know, but maybe it will help you to understand why it is so difficult to understand.
Man, I gotta go, starting to sound like Buddha.

Well they say women hit their peak around mid 30s. and guys from 17 to mid 50s. I see lots of woman wanting sex online in their mid to high 20s though. You hate to make them do something they dont want , so you might shop for another GF with a better appitite to fill in the gaps.

I have been having sex now for 23 years and I can tell you that my peek comes and goes depending on what is going on in my life and who I am with.

I don't think it has so much to do with biology as it does physiologically. Women need mental stimulation if they are to be sexually aroused. And 17 is still very young and she is just learning her body and what it wants and needs. Her desire or lack of it in no way predicts what she will be like in the future.
