sarasmile is on a distinguished road
Wink

Okay, so i have been with my boyfriend for about a year and a half. We moved in together last February. He does everything for me and is a real sweetheart. He is so great in bed, and always makes sure he pleases me. For the past month or so, I've only wanted to have sex with him like 4 times. He wants it all the time and defines our relationship by it. i don't know why I just can't get in the mood lately. He thinks that I just dont care any more and it's ruining our relationship. i still love him and find him very sexy, but i just dont know what's wrong with me at this point. i mean I'm 22, I should be wanting sex all the time, right? What can I do to make this better? I don't want to lose him because of sex....

My best friend is having this problem at the moment, i suggested that she may be over satisfied.... you know if you dont get off fully you want it even more but when you cum, your happy just to relax after? maybe try and abstain for a week or something, see if it fixes things... the other option I have is, if this has been happening for a while has your sex drive gone into hibernation? I knwo when i dont get sex all the time for a while . eg between boyfriends, or at the moment I am on a 6 week hol without my boy, i stop getting horney and it takes a fair bit to get me back into it

There's a statement that bears some careful consideration. Consider the stress and pressure that places on a relationship!

That said, there are gadzillion possible explanations for a lower sex drive.... physical, emotional, practical. There is nothing in the books I can find that says just because you are 22 you should automatically be horny all the time!

Some would say that if you lose him because of sex, he wasn't worth keeping. Why not make a joint project out of understanding what's going on...? A checkup at the doc wouldn't hurt... take a look at what's changed in your life recently (the assumption is that your drive used to be higher)...

Look hard at the relationship, but don't let sex be the only measure.
