Birthday

My birthday was on Thursday. I got a lot of good wishes and gifts. However, the man I have been seeing for 4 years never called to wish me a happy birthday. I saw him on Tuesday and reminded him that my Birthday was on Thursday.

I still have no birthday wish as of today. I called him yesterday and left him a voice message to wish him a nice long weekend and that maybe we can get together next week to finish a bottle of wine he brought to dinner last tuesday. I know he saw on his cell I was calling but he failed to answer.

What should I think of this? are we done?

You have been together 4 years I would confront him directly and find out his excuse. Is this behavior new? If he is just rude then maybe you could forget his birthday.

i wouldnt recommend to do the same to him, two wrongs dont make a right. I would talk to him directly, if this is a new problem, is this has happened before, let him go, don't stress over it.

If so I think you are having some problems letting go. *If this man continues to treat you badly, you have two choices: *

Maby he wants to end the relationship , but he doesnt want to hurt you. If u dump him it might make it easier for him. I think thats probly what he is doing.
You should eather talk to him , Try to renew what u had before( like if u havent done somthin in a whiel do it i guess), or dump him.

He might just want an easy way out. So if it is like that, you have a dission to make:
Wether u want him and, if u will work it out.
Or if u think its a cheap thing call it on him and tell him by doing what he did he in essance broke up iht u ( to not let him get what he wants)

If a guy I had been dating 4 months or 4 weeks even didn't call me and wish me a happy birthday I would definetly think he was a jerk. Especially if I had reminded him 2 days before.
It's not like I expect a HUGE present or party, but a little acknowledgement is needed.
