Adult Movies

I have a question. Do any of you know of any "adult" movies that you would recommend for couples to watch? And also relatively tasteful? (to clarify, yes I am talking about porn).

i think several people have suggested those "Better Sex" series of videos.
they are more of a demonstrational type of video to positions and such. that way its done tasteful and itsn't raunchy lol.

Tough question, because individual taste and definitions are, well individual. LOL

There was a series on HBO... Red Shoe Diaries - that I think many people would agree was quite erotic and could be enjoyed by men and women. Not sure if you can buy them, but they might be rentable.

If we're looking for something more "hard core" some would say the Candice Royalle series are a bit more "tasteful."

Is that an oxymoron? "Tasteful porn?"

Two classics: Alice in Wonderland (X rated version) is kinda hokey, but it's also about Alice discovering her sexuality. Another is Misty Beethoven. The plot is similar, actually. It's a bit more graphic. Both suffer from being "older films" but they would be worth considering. Neither is particularly clinical. LOL Not sure they'd be available on DVD.

Just a suggestion, my wife and I go to a web site WWW.directvideodvd.com and go through the list together and see what we're both interested in and get those.

Hey thanks for the suggestions, but the descriptions don't really tell much. I guess what I am looking for is more of a XXX movie (with storyline-I think hubby would be more into that than just getting something where they are just banging away.) Any suggestions on good XXX movies with decent storylines and the quality sex stuff too??

I think this is a bit like the search for the holy grail. :-)

It does seem to be a bit of an either/or proposition. You're either going to end up "fooling around" or you're going to end up concentrating on the story line - or at least that's the way most producers view it.

The storyline in the two classics I mentioned is basically sexual and, by and large, a justification for the "banging away." I think you'll find that most xxx stuff tends to be done that way.

"Pandora's Mirror" is another such... Pandora ends up becoming obsessed with an antique mirror... it seems the mirror allows her to see things (which are of course sexual in nature and involve some of the more common perversions). Most of the movie is about the visions in the mirror... and, in a small way, the affect they have on her.

There is a site that has the name "Jane" in it which allegedly offers fairly objective reviews... perhaps someone can supply the link or it might turn up in a Google search?

while I've never seen it myself, people say that "The Maddams Family" is fairly good. *Granted, I've read good reviews of it, and bad reviews of it, but the bad weren't horrible. *They just nitpicked at things like these two characters should've hooked up but didn't...so you know, it's all to each his or her own.
It has Ron Jeremy in it, so if you're one that can't stomach him, I wouldn't suggest it.

Also take in mind it's from like the early 90s, so it is cheesy...although I'm trying to figure out what plot lined porn isn't...and it's not as hardcore as the stuff out there today is.

But anyways, it's just a suggestion.
Your husband may like it cause well, most guys are a bit envious of Ron Jeremy to begin with. *lol.
I'm sure you can find reviews of it through google.com and whatnot.

Hey, thanks for the info. Though I've never heard of Ron Jeremy, I'm not familiar with the characters and actors/actresses in these type of movies, I'm just interested in finding something that has the feel of a regular movie to it, but a little more interesting. But like you said, we'd most likely end up fooling around anyway, so plot probably doesn't matter too much anyway. Thanks again all!!
