I'm curious as to your opinions on male shaving of the genitalia area. I do it to prevent my girlfriend from getting unwanted hair in her mouth. Also, it helps to feel more stimulation by being able to feel things directly, instead of being dampered by the cushion of hair.
Other advantages I've seen with some people are: for those who sweat badly will find that after shaving, the stench no longer is as bad after a day at the gym or outside working.
So what are you opinions?

for the Most part its just your own personal preference. I want to try just havent had a chance and dont want to have to deal with the itching afterwards I hear so much about. but I think I will try it depending on what my GF thinks about it.

It doesn't itch unless you let it grow for a few days. If you shave regularly you shouldn't have any.
I would say don't shave if you don't want to first of all but if you do want to do it for her once or twice then do i beleive she might appreciate it cuz i know when i give him oral sex that sometimes hair goes in my mouth so do it if you want but i would rather if i was your girlfriend and you were worried about that to rather trim it instead.

Well, after reading some stuff on here, I decided to go trim up a bit, was like a damn jungle down there, I had a electric razor / beard trimmer combo and I never use the beard trimmer so I figured why not, ill see if my gf likes it, I didnt completley shave, just trim, one tip though, make sure your pulling the hair up when shaving and make sure your not like pushing because i barely knicked my shaft and it bled a little but is fine and is in working order
My Ex HATED hair on ANYONE. I felt bad because i had my share... so yes..... i shaved it all. Its not that bad, the itching isnt as bad as it sounds, but ya know what? Less Sweating, and I went to the beach shaved, i was in the water for almost 2 hours... No chaffing!!! I always chaffed after around 30mins to an hour.
Mighta been luck But I blame the shaving!!
My new girlfriend is awesome, the first time we did anyhting was more of a surprise, and i was almost embarassed because i was used to being hated for having hair. She said she liked it. I trim it now, sort-of short, she says its very sexy and nice... and she absolutely loves my happy trail!

he can trim some if he wants...but i don't want it shaven completely off, or really, i don't want any of it shaven.
it seems like i would be having sex with like a 10 year old or something if he did...and that's just... no.
Me thinks it could be cool. But it's my bf's desicion if he wants to or not. Doesn't bother me too much.
hmm, why not just trim it??? short? i duno about any other girls, but.. i think it looks funny if a woman or man is shaved, reminds me too much of.. pre-puberty... kinda deal and that isnt cool at all.
See when it comes to shaving, I think that if you don't mind doing it, its an enjoyable thing, but with some of my gf's they like and some of them don't, so if you involved with some the easiest way is to as her what she thinks.
My husband shaves and I love it. More because it adds friction during sex, not because I don't get hair in my mouth. I shave too, but not as often because I do get itchy and irritated if I do it too often, even if there is no hair to shave.
I prefer it shaved, but its not worth the trouble just to admire myself in the mirror.
I do it on occasion. It looks and feels very clean, although it's hard to upkeep so I only do it once in a while.

Been through a few of the different pubic hairstyles. First started with the basic bikini to experiment and see how it felt. Progressed from there to a wedge. Also did the landing strip. Went totally bare by shaving. Now keep it waxed. So with the waxing, it goes from totally bare to some growth before the next waxing. So I kind of enjoy both worlds this way. Being totally smooth and bare and then the closely trimmed look.
Ha, "GT". It doesn't get much tackier than shaving your pubic hair into a racing stripe...
And regarding some of those styles, why even bother shaving only a portion of the legs? That just looks awful - kind of like when a girl is naked and has tan lines where her bra/panties would be. If you're gonna shave them, shave all of them. Don't half ass it.
