O.k fellas..
Well not too sure about some of you but i wanted too just post some advice on male grooming. I know some women like there men in certain ways but for myself i feel most comfortable well groomed....Body wise.
For myself the body hair in access is uncomfortable. So i always been the type to shave my chest hair and any hair even 1 on my shoulder or back area.
And i always found the women i encountered were fond of a non hairy man.
I had a relationship with a women a year ago who was totally into porn (like myself) and she was really fond of the male actors in the films with no pubic hair. So of course to follow her attraction i shaved off my crotch hair!
The problem i faced was simple..
How tha F*@k do i do that!
I tried a bic razor!............Bad idea!
Besides the small nic's i got on my balls which burned like hell when i took a shower after it was painfull and uncomfortable!
I tried hair clippers and again that proved o be just like the razor!
You can cut the hair above ya dick but close to the balls and the hair on the balls is always a danger zone!
And trust thats the area you wanna shave clean but smooth with NO nic's etc...
I was in a drug store not so long ago and i found an electric razor very well worth the mention!
What caught my eye was the print on the box.."TRIM & SHAVE ALL BODYZONES"
Now its obvious on the box i dont think it can legally say "Will shave ya nuts without cuttin them off"! lol
But i bought it and used it and i have to admit it is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Close shave! and leaves a smooth finish! I can press it against my skin down below and fully eliminate ALL the hair in the area and yes even on the nutz!!!
Clean shaved, Smooth finish and after a splash of "Bay Rum oil based" (Which does NOT burn and is equal too after shave) i promise you any man who has ever wanted too or does shave this shaver is the best!!!!!!!!
And oh yeah...I never have had a razor bump!
Soooooooo
fellas do the research. I dont wanna sound like a salesman but this electric razor really works and its waterproof. works wet and dry. Recharble internal battery with Dock included and it uses a Hypoallergenic Foil on the top so there is no irritation.
$40 - Philips, Norelco "BodyGroom"
Hope this helps anyone.
Whats ya thoughts on a shaved man ladies?

They look like boys not men. I tend to like men who look as if they are through puberty.
i found a link for those intrested...
http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-BG2020-Bodygroom-Shaver/dp/B000EG8HLE
lol...
Trust im 6ft 1 and 230lbs and In the best shape of my life.
I promise you there is NO "Boy" in my apperance what so ever.
Body hair is a must for me...chest and the trail line...ummmmm. Add a good body to that & you are good to go, LOL!
Ok the trail line is there at least on me..lol
This is probably an ad post.....
Anyway, one's size has nothing to do with whether or not you look like and/or are a boy.
The Norelco Bodygroom is decent, but it's no more special than other mid-priced razors. You'll notice on the box that it says *not* designed for the face. That's because it's not a very close shave, and *isn't* a smooth shave on the rest of your body. It just doesn't feel quite as stubbly as a hand razor because it cuts the hairs flat from the top down and not at sharp angles from the bottom up. Almost all electric razors cut the same way. Depending on skin type, it can easily leave one still feeling very scratchy afterward or within the next day. The only notable thing about the Bodygroom is the fact that it has trimmers on each side of the foil to clip the hairs short enough to enter the foil, however women's razor's have had that function since the 70's. Oh, I forgot, it has a very funny website advertising it. Hair tends to clog rather quickly in the bodygroom, so if you do have one, be sure to turn it to the side and run water under each sides trimmer to prevent buildup.
A higher quality face razor(around $70and up), will do a better job, and sugaring will do an even better job. Above $70, most of the price increase comes from "self cleaning" functions and not improved shaving which are simply pools of alcohol and glycerin that the razor is turned on in much like the clean button on blenders.
And oh will EEK's hair bristle at the OP, heh.
edit: I forgot to include not to use a rotary razor down there, as the very thin skin can get caught in the slots. Reciprocating motions with a fine foil guard is one's best bet.
Sorry but its not an AD post.
Again i dont work for the company or anything like that i just found the product and thought it was worth the mention.
And all of those issues you discussed i have never encountered. The hair clogging in the razor??? maybe if you look like a wilderbeast or wanna attempt to shave full length hair! and yes its NOT intended for your face because the razors are not the same (I would imagin) nor are they as close as a razor intended for your face....whatever man it works perfect for me so again i thought id suggest it too those looking like i was.
thats all. no need for debate.
I shave my balls and the base of my shaft in the shower with a disposable razor, have been for years, and I have never cut myself. Everything else just gets trimmed though.
I love a man who has little body hair. I love the happy trail, but that is about it. I prefer no pubic hair, no chest hair and absolutely no back hair! I personally find back hair to be a huge turn off. So, yah, I like manscaped men. Even better if they wax so there is no stubble.
I love the male body hair...major turn on. I first try to touch an arm; preferrably a bicept, and then get my hand/finger near the chest area to check for a good amount of chest hair! Done subtly, it works to check it out!

I did that over the weekend...the younger guy hitting on me....made sure I checked the upper arms...then he got close while talking, I laughed and got the shirt...had to make sure he had the Italian hair on the chest...he was hot too! Had fun going out & will do it again. But body hair on men is so under-rated!!!!:D
shaving down below is awesome when a guy does it - i don't have much of a preference but it's nicer to go down on a guy and not suck on hair while your doing your thing. Body hair like chest hair should NOT be waxed on a dude... it just makes you look weird without it lol
mmm Nice Sera:p;):D
Okay, so is it wrong to go out with someone 10+ years your junior??? He is really a very nice man! He looks a bit older than his age & I look slightly younger. Has a really nice chest & Biceps!!!!:o
Now, I hear the words ringing in my ears from CL calling me Mrs. Robinson...next, watch out Ducy! LOL!
Lol Sera watch out for Ducy he will turn you lesbian.....
(Sorry Ducy .. mi bad the demons in my head made me say it)
Nope nothing wrong at all Sera.. just go for it :D
Im just sayin for the Lower area i like to eat without a big ass bush of hair on the pu**y . So i assume it is the same for a women because i like the favor returned.
Now as for my chest..sorry but im not wolverine. hair sweats when its hot and i dont want too worry about anything more than my underarms smelling fresh.
I hear ya though ladies...
its all a matter of prefrence
Females stay well groomed...but still love the damned hair on a man! Trust me; I have not seen anyone choke on a hair and that was in about 15 years working in an ER! Females do it to remain "tidy"...I remain waxed due to ticks which bury in unwanted places and cuts down on the need to shave legs & arms...men don't seem to have the same issues we so.
But a nice hairy chest...uhmmmmm....yummmmmm....and the treasure trail....I don't like to see a man with legs smoother than mine!
SoFreshSoClean,
Your tastes, preferences and practices are your own. You and I are diametrically opposed on the issue of female pubic hair and male body hair.
I like a "big ass bush of hair on the pu**y" as you so eloquently describe it. It is possibly a generational thing.
Webby!!! "it's nicer to go down on a guy and not suck on hair while your doing your thing"- Wow! I am impressed. I never met anyone who could go that far down!!!!!!!! Or do some men have hair growing way up the shafts of their penes?
Sera, yes we men get ticks also. Fortunately where I work we are more at risk from tics than ticks. So my body fur is not a liability.
I think the bottom line here is - different strokes for different folks. That applies in pretty much every aspect of life.

Ticks are so prevalent here, just sitting in your back yard they are climbing on you! Much less trying to go for a nice walk, mow the lawn, or let a pet outside they find a way on you. The fastest way is to climb up shorts and the infected ones are the size on a small pin head...therefore, having had the disease multiple times & last time with neurological symptoms which were severe...chose the waxing.
However, what I find overall is the expectation in society of being fully hairless. Now, with women, I can see yes underarms, bikini lines, and legs are just manners & etiquette. Trimming some hair in the pubic area does decrease discomfort from clothing getting caught & reduces retention of odor & bacteria. Good hygiene for both men & women are a must; however, this trend of all people being 100& hairless [minus the head] is just odd to me. It's more of an expectation today rather than a choice. Keeping legs/arms waxed is actually easier since it does reduce "get ready for the day time" on a daily basis and avoids cuts.
One point though I am not certain men understand when they do shave the genitals; just as they have five o'clock shadow on their face....uhmmm, so does their genitals and honestly during intercourse I find it very uncomfortable...stubble. Now, if in a relationship where sex is regular, once or twice a day...that's a great deal of upkeep. I do not know if men realize their shaving stubble on their genitals hurts women and really ruins the mood! Conversely, I would think men find the same with women...if she saved in the am, comes home form work, there is stubble...that must be uncomfortable when burying a face down south--seems more like a brier patch.
Sera I believe you and I talked precisely about ticks and female pubic hair just a few months ago! I can tell you from experience that female pubic stubble is just as irritating to the touch of tongue as male facial or pubic stubble would be. And it is also irritating to my penis. I have heard that there are men who become highly aroused when subjected to pain and discomfort:p
Maybe a completely smooth mons and labia majora are pleasant to the touch. It might be fun devote a long while to sensation play/stimulation of such an area, perhaps even rub it with warm oil. I can only imagine.
I thought ticks were a Southern and Western commodity-hah! and I call myself a world traveler
I harp on the tick thing...maybe that was when I had the memory loss! LOL! Actually Lyme's CT is very close to me! Keeping waxed is nice for the legs & underarms...sometimes can be erotic on the Mons but does has disadvantages. Kinda feel really nude, LOL!
For me, my hair is my decision and his hair is his decision. I will admit giving a hummer might be a little easier without hair there (which is probably what Webby was talking about), but I can work around it if a guy likes them, which, it doesn't seem to do all that much for my guy, so that part of the point is moot. At the end of the day I would never ever make a request of any kind in regard to grooming. His opinion is more important than mine.
I shave my balls and the base of my shaft in the shower with a disposable razor, have been for years, and I have never cut myself. Everything else just gets trimmed though.
I've been doing that lately (although not in the shower). I like the smooth feeling down below. Chest hair stays though.
I have something of an aversion to hair, on my own body and on others. Oddly enough though, I do think a trail line is sexy. Its a total turn on to see those hairs leading down from my boyfriends belly button whenever he is changing shirts or something. Probably just because they kind of act as an arrow pointing to his man parts. But hair on the chest, back or face of a guy totally weirds me out. I was dating a guy with a full beard and I just couldn't bring myself to kiss him very often, even though I thought he was a good looking guy. I think if I had liked him enough for other reasons maybe I could have gotten past it..but I dunno, it might be one of those deal breaker things for me . So I guess its lucky my current boyfriend is pretty hairless except for in the pubic region (although I recently found out he gets quite hairy nipples..I didn't know because he does such a good job shaving them all the time..apparently having hairy nipples really weirds him out..one more neurotic thing we have in common lol) I would probably be happier if my bf kept his pubes trimmed down a bit though, but its not something I would ever make him shave or anything. Its not a big deal to me down there. Plus I know how uncomfortable it can be. I try to keep it all trimmed down and shave the bikini line and most of the top part. However, shaving too much of it down gives me awfully bad razor burn, and its horrible for like a week until the hairs are pretty long again, and during that time its so messed up I can't shave down the stubble every day or anything. And the only time I ever got a waxing, I had bad ingrown hairs and it was still bumpy, red and itchy when the hairs started growing back in. Anyone have any advice? Does it get better the more you do it or something? Because I would love to have a beautifully smooth crotch for more than a day or two before it looks like it got attacked by a porcupine..I've tried everything I can think of and am beginning to think maybe I'm just a lost cause in that department :(
while most of them go nutz with hairy man...
i prefer a clean and shaved man...
well groomed are a plus to me....
I find this interesting, cos I want 2b adventurous with grooming my pubic hair, but doing myself, I either dont do it well enuf or get carried away, as I have done recently!!! I have heard of certaib waxes u can have (for females) & few for men, but dont have confidence to get it done outside the house!! Anyone had this done professionally or have an opinion on it???

Yes done professionally & I once many years ago tried at home (I am female though). Home products are very painful; whereas, i found those who know hair growth patterns, go fast, accurate, and have good products, do a painless job! It's scarier than anyone would think yet it's nothing more than a fast rip...no residual pain. Pay for a good waxer & you will not have issues later and the re-growth takes about 6 weeks...makes it much easier.
Anyone who cannot do it, you have the wrong waxer! I can have done my legs, under arms and a full Brazilian in the same day...take one hour and less grooming in the long run.
hey guys i am 50 yr old fit gym toned dude fron Australia been married for 31 yrs to the mst amazing wife and i have been keeping bod hair at bay for yrs only hair is on head and my snail trail down to goods my wife really luvs it as for me its the best way to keep clean and sweat free during the summer months so guys if ya thinking bout trimmin go do guys u wont regret it.
But I LOVE body hair on men! Makes them more snuggly, more pettable (esp. for ghosting) and it is a totally MALE attribute thus very archetypically attractive.
Shower using plenty of soap - it is enough.

:pOh Boy I have to admit.I am a hair loving girl.. My man has lots a body hair. chest groin , legs .I just love the soft hair to run my fingers through ,its a big turn on for me. He trimed it one time for me and I was sad .So he has promised not to trim no more. I have bought a new razor for me to shave my self, but Im waiting to see what my guy wants. So far hes thinking about it. So he must have mixed feelings about hair also.

Any razor = stubble within a couple days = extreme mood killing pain to the head of the penis, and probable irritation of the shaft, with the irritation being proportional to condom's thinness. Waxing is the way to go.
Forget waxing, forget shaving - a light trim is all that's needed - other than soap and hot water.
:DAh would love to wax. But just cant aford to get it done and keep it up. But I can shave every day. I do have time for that.I already shave legs every day so whats one one shave job. Smiles. My BF has a super tough Penis. so no worrys about hes head getting a rug burn. So lucky for me and him. Good thing we are all diffrent. It takes a lot a diffrent people to make up a huge world. and try so many diffrent things to share with each other.:D If I did waxing id have to have BF pull wax off. I know id never be able to pull it off. I might give that some thought .I can aford to buy the brazillian wax kit.

Just in case any lads out their do want to shave.. the way to do it, is to keep on top of it! Shave every week.. or more. When you do it the first couple of times their is major irratation, but by the 3rd or 4th time its good as gold. But you have to keep on top of it - otherwise, itll be back to irratation.
I once waxxed my legs for sport - and that completely turned me off the idea of ever even contemplating waxxing down there!
Good post!
*sigh*
The more you all talk, the deeper it gets. Ladies and gentlemen, when asked this kind of a question the ONLY correct answer is:
Just Show Up
I've had full male Brazilian sugarings ($55Cdn)...but I found hairs continue to grow at different rates, and hairs start to grow right after I've been for my sugaring.
I have a lovely hairy body, but shave my pubic area in the bikini area daily while in the shower. The part that is in contact with my wife during coitus, is trimmed short, but doesn't irritate her. She lightly trims.
When giving oral, she doesn't get to the possible stubble area, and I'm not complaining. ;)
I actually like guys hairier, not sure why but it really turns me on. If the guy has less pubic hair than me, then I'm just not interested. Plus, my boyfriend has gone through pain the day after shaving. Yes, I must admit that when there is no hair around the penis, it looks bigger.. but still. Not all women like their men smooth.

i can go both ways with you i like the thought of me getting fucked by a bigger dick but i also like the feel of his hairs brush up against my ass or my pussy it is more stimulating but my bf has never thought about going back since i let him shave me one friday afternoon he thought it would be sexy if i shaved him and we have sex right after that its great but i think i will be able to let hom grow it out a little before i shave him again for my pleasure he will do it
I will have to admit that I really find hair on a guy, a big turn on. I love to run my fingers over his hairy chest. I would be pissed if a guy had smoother legs than me. All guys need to do is a little manscaping around his dick. Just a trim guys!
discussing wiv gf not long ago & she wud like 4 me 2 go bare, down there, tho having done so voluntarily few times before, I dont feel comfortable, so not I just trim, tho not having ne complaints. She still wants me to go bare 4 her, but dont wana!!! Tho I like it wen she's shaven, for the smoothness & easy ride as we touch!!!
If you don't want to, then don't.
Agreed, Cammi! And do the trimming for him, ladies!
I shave around my balls every other day. Yes, when you first do it their is irritation shortly after or the next day. I shave every other day because of the stubble reason stated in a previous post. I prefer women smooth and bare, with the exception of a true redhead I love to see the trimmed "fire bush". My thinking is if I ask a woman to do it the least I can do is the same. I prefer a woman to be smooth because I hate going down on a gal and the distraction of a hair in my mouth and stopping to take it out.
I've been shaving for a few years now and enjoy doing it.
Other than shaving part of my face and my head I'm covered in hair. I've asked a few women about shaving my chest and they all tell me to keep it, so I am. The back is a different issue and I'm thinking of having it waxed. Your thoughts ladies?
Sweet. I'm a hairy dude lol
Not having a partner, this question is not too relevant for me. However, when I did have a wife, she would not to filetio if I was hairy so I did shave. I think it is a matter for personal choice that does require a lot of communication.
I'm not really into meticulously groomed men, but I love it when my man have little body hair, especially in the pubic area, because it makes his ding-dong look bigger! :D i also love it when he dons some penis jewelry! But then again, different strokes for different folks of course.
I do not have fur. Men have fur. Viva la' difference!!
A hairless man is ICK as in trying to have sex with a mannequin.
I have often wondered if acceptance of how you're made has anything to do with one's acceptance and embracing of one's sexuality.
Let's face it - sex can be a messy business and if you're going to be put off your stride by just hair, well... how are you going to handle what else can happen?
Hair is there for a reason.
Somewhere I read that it helps in keeping your clothes away from your skin and keep the area "ventilated".
My hubby uses the Norelco. he likes it but says a regular razor is still best. I hate the stubble days after. it hurts.
Anyone know a good electric razor for the ladies?
Hugs and Hissessss,
Maria
