Hi Everyone,
I went to the beach the other day, and pretty much all of the guys my age and in their twenties haven't got any hair at all on their chests or stomaches.
Are men expected to get rid of this hair somehow? If that is the case, how the #### do we do it?
Thanks,
Andy

Well, you don't HAVE TO get rid of it.
Totally down to personal preference, personally i prefer no chest hair on myself.
But if you did want to get rid of it you could either shave or wax your chest.
The more you do this tho, the more furious the hair will grow back next time (as on your face or anywhere else). So if you decided to stop shaving your chest after a couple of years you'd probably look a little like big foot

is it even really worth it??
Even if you shave chest hair, it'll still grow back. Curly, fluffy chest hair is better than having stubble on it.
Yeah, don't make the mistake of shaving back hair, etc..like I did.. Razor burn is HELL...
Thanks for the info!
Can waxing be done at home? Any tips or tricks to know before embarking on this endeavour?
Well man I don't really think it's worth it, but hey it's your preference. Some women like it hairy and some don't, so I say what you want is what you should do. I personally would find it to be a hassel and if you shave and don't wax your always gonna have stubble pretty much. So go with what you want.
I don't like chest hair, or pubic hair for that matter. I get rid os it. there are several ways to do so. there are many products that you can use for this purpose, just watch t.v. for a while, you're bound to see some. I like to use one with a hair inhibitor so I don't have to do it as often
LOL, you were at the beach while I was snowboarding.
But anyway, I find chest hair on guys to be unattractive and back hair even worse.
No, it's not true that once you shave the hair, or wax the hair off that it comes back thicker. That's just a rumor. It would be easier to get it waxed because even shaving my legs everyday gets annoying.
As for exactly what to get waxed, I would say all, even that 'happy trail' because it would be weird to have no hair and then just that, unless you find a way to make it look more natural somehow, but I prefer everything, chest, stomach, back, 'happy trail' waxed. Besides, waxing lasts 4-6 weeks. It also will come back thinner since you're ripping it out by the roots. And it doesn't hurt as much as you think... (At least for my legs)...besides, you'll get used to it.
It's just a turn off for me, but it's a turn on to put your hands on your boyfriend's stomach, back, or chest and find it to be smooth. I'd also be more likely to touch and kiss if there were no hair.
Waxing at a salon is expensive, I know around me, getting a full leg wax is $60, but I'm sure if you call they'll tell you. At home is a mess...I don't suggest it. Unless of course you use a depilatory like 'Nair'.
The smoother the better! My boyfriend naturally has very little hair and I love it. His back is completely smooth, no chest hair, just enough hair on his legs to not look girly. I have a friend who shaves his back (well he has another friend do it for him) and wow he looks good. Shaving isn't only for girls these days.
Well it didn't seem to matter to Austin Powers.
Its really a matter of opinion and choice.
Its like saying should i have long hair of a short hair...up to you in other words. If you're worried about whether women like it...Half of women like Hairy chests and the other half don't.
Soooo...if you shave your hair off...its not going to make much difference.
It all depends on what you prefer. I will say this though...if you shave your chest, there is a possibility that it will itch next few days or so. Also waxing does hurt. If you are gonna do it, I would just suggest using something like Nair and maybe after that using one of those lotions that claim to minimize hair apperance. Oh yeah, and you do not want to go anywehre near your pubic area with wax, you'll shatter windows screaming.
Its all up to you there is no right or wrong answer
