Sounds like she is jealous. Although, looking at it from her point of view, it can be very distracting, not to mention frustrating, to be around friends who are making out when you are not. I know, I've been there.

Its very easy to say she should mind her own business, but she is your roommate, so it is also encroaching on her privacy. Maybe you shouldn't be roommates any more.

i don't mind people having sex where i can hear it because

1. i want to be able to have sex myself and not have to worry about annoying people
2. philisophically, the enjoyment gained from shagging (times by the people involved) easily outweighs the discomfort of hearing it.
3. i enjoy listening :P (joke! i just couldn't think of a 3rd one...)

Think you need to schedule your sessions for when she's not around and or go to his place. Definitely make some other arrangements cause listening to someone else haveing sex on a regular basis would freak me out too.

Also tell her you value your friendship but to mind her own bussiness about who you're dateing. Seems that a lot of people make a career out of medeling in other peoples relationships. Tells me they need to get a life of thier own. Plus misery loves company.

I've been in a similar situation. My boyfriend at the time lived in the same dorm as one of my friends. Before I started going to school with them, I would only visit on the weekends or days that I could get off work. This meant that my boyfriend and I didn't see each other a lot so when we were together, hormones were raging we didn't leave his room unless it was necessary (bathroom, eating, etc...) My friend and a few other people would actually stop what they were doing and listen to us and then imitate some of the things we would say or the noises we would make. Apparently we could be heard across the hall and on the other side of the building.

I can see the friend's side of it, because no one really wants to hear someone else having sex all the time, but there are better ways to go about it. Instead of imitating you or making fun of you, she could sit down with you and talk about how it makes her uncomfortable to hear you having sex. If she does that, then I say that you should respect her feelings and try to keep it down for the most part. If she continues to be rude about it, then I say try to be even louder.

I think that there is a time and place to have loud sex.

Dorm rooms are not a place. Your family home when your relatives are around is not a place. Public places are not a place.

Use your head!

It's okay to have loud sex in hotel rooms, an empty house, etc.

Respect that other people really don't want to hear you!
