Loss of Sensitivity

I was wondering if using vibrators too often cause a loss in sensitivity of the clitoris. I've heard that it does and then I've heard that it does. My clitoris is very sensitive and I have a lot of fun with my vibrators but I don't want to lose that sensitivity.

Lets play too much information with me, shall we?

I first discovered the joys of vibration around the 7th grade. I hade one of those squiggle pens..you know, the ones that vibrated as your wrote and made your wirting look all "cool". Well one day while using it, I dropped it in my lap and well, it felt damn good.
I soon discovered that using it on my clit was a great thing.
I eventually stopped around a year or two later cause it just seemed not fun anymore and it was just much easier to use my hand.

But now when I use a real vibrator, I can't get off to it. Sure, the vibration feels good, but it doesn't do anything for me like it did in my earlier years. I've never reached an orgasm with one.

I can however reach one with my guy rubbing my clit.

So I guess maybe the answer is yes and no.
I think you can lose some sensitivity when it comes to the vibration, but I don't think you lose it all together. You can still have those nice feelings when someone else touches you.

But then it may also depend on the person. Everyone is different after all.
