So me and my girlfriend were talking about a week ago, and i was asking her what turned her on...well she told me she really didnt know, because she was never really "active" before we started going out. So I was like alright well i say we figure it out...and she was all for it. I mean me and her both love to fool around and make out and stuff, so i mean i figured it would be good to know...especially for when and if we decide to have sex. So we had it planned for the following weekend cuz my parents would be out of town and it would give us plenty of time to explore and things like that. Well the next day. (saturday) she told me it would have to wait cuz she started her period...well i asked her why since it was planned for the following weekend, and she said cuz it drags on. So basically what i wanted to ask was is this normal...or what i mean to say is it okay...or could there be something wrong? Im a little worried, cuz well i mean i dont really know much about menstration and things of that nature...any advice or answer would be great.

Long Period...

Oh and a little extra...shes 17 so idk if that is a factor or anything
A period can be anywhere from 2 days to 9 days I believe. Also she may spot afterwards, even though she might be done the "normal" bleeding. Age is sort of a factor, younger women have more erratic periods, so she might not have regular periods and might be off a day or more from her prediction.
Yeah I mean I am on the pill so mine is a little shorter. But say I'll start mine on wed. The majority of it is over by Sunday. There will still be some of that "leftover" hanging around Mon/Tue.
I mean the latter isn't that big of a deal...but I am sure she wants to be her cleanest down there...and not have to worry about it.
1. What she says is entirely possible. Teen women have irregular patterns and are very individual.
2. That can also be a handy excuse for us, especially as teens, because the guys know no different. She may regret the discussion you had and the apparent commitment she made.
3. You will never know.
Alright thanks...good to know...oh and brandye I kinda figured it would be number two, the whole excuse, but i doubt it since she basically jumped me after it was over with. But your right...Ill never know.I guess this is why understanding girls is so difficult.:(
as a wise man once said , WOMEN
