mhm, not to mention that different guys like different things. Mine LOVES boyshorts, so once in a while I'll pick up a nice pair.

My wife has a ton, but really wears about 10 pairs in rotation. I swear, her hobby is collecting underwear. One day I snapped and was cleaning out all of the drawers in our room and her underwear drawer was ridiculous. There were hundreds of pairs and there were very few that she wears, a lot she doesn't, and even more that had never been out of the drawer. We went through them pair by pair and they ended up in 5 categories. Thongs, boyshorts/cheekies, "that time of the month", comfy (cotton bikini), and garbage. What we found out is she's not a huge fan of the boyshorts, they just ride up too much. There was a good amount of uncomfortable thongs that were useless, but most of the pants she wears requires a thong so a handful of comfortable thongs were the most worn. Bizarre because she's always claimed that she doesn't like to wear them. As for the comfy/that time of the month I know that they are staples.

Is this normal? Does most women wear about 5% of the underwear that they own?

As for what I like, it's pretty irrevalvent. I enjoy the cheekies and thongs, but I prefer lace. She doesn't wear lace....ever. I bought a couple of pairs early in our marriage as a present and they never came out of her drawer. I took the hint. She wears based on function more then anything else. She loves her comfy bikini style, but she can't stand underwear lines so they are rarely worn out of the house.

As for your boyshorts. You don't need anyone to tell you what to wear. If I'm understanding which ones you are talking about, they're very sexy in their own right. Ya, lots of guys like thongs, but I think there are just as many that enjoy every other style as well. Wear what you enjoy and know that underwear should not be a deal breaker in a relationship.

as long as they are not granny panties your man will like them so wear what is comfy to you because if he truly cares about you he wont care what underwear you have on as long as you are comfortable. my gf throws on a variety every now and then and i will tell you I personally couldn't care what underwear she wears as long as I can hold her and kiss her.

Wear whatever lingerie you like whenever and wherever you are. You are the one wearing it. If your partner likes or does not like your selection that is simply another bit of information on your compatibility.

Perfectly alright to have large amounts of lace panties:) Boyshorts are just fine. They are sexy. As a man I enjoy looking at bikini panties on a woman. I think nothing turns me on more than bikinis. As for thong panties I can take them or leave them. Some women claim that there is nothing more comfortable than a thong others claim the opposite.

Lace has always been synonymous with sexy.

Ditto. Don't sacrifice your comfort for his eye candy because his interest is really in what's underneath all those silk and laces.

A relationship is a two-way street! So what if he wants to see you in some sexy lingerie!? Is it really a matter of bending one's will to put on simple lingerie!? You don't need to wear it all the time, but once or twice is seriously fine. Is it really so bad that she wants to please him?

Gotta agree with Rouge here, is wearing lingerie sometimes that big of a deal? By all means, don't wear thongs if they are really uncomfortable, but this isn't really sacrificing sexual boundaries. You can also put it on just right before the session and have it off within 10 minutes or less. No need to wear one all day. It's a wedgie, at worst. If the wedgie feeling is what's bothering you, there are some thongs that are famous for not feeling like thongs. Hanky Panky brand for instance.

And to answer the question, no, most men do not like only thongs. There are some men that even prefer boyshorts to thongs. They are adorable, and lace ups the sexy factor. I share the boyshorts love...printed cotton boyshorts are my everyday fare. And there are a lot of men who would rather see a woman in lingerie and take it off, then have her wearing nothing immediately. It's hard to understand this, but it's true.

I do not care what my girlfriend wears. She has a pair of panties that I love, they look and feel similar to swimsuit material. Those are my favorites. But whatever she is comfortable in is the most important thing to me! Plus they all come off during intimacy!

I like my girlfriend's body in every lingerie she decides to wear! If you ask me I prefer to see her in something small and thight combined with something transparent. Yes, I prefer and want to see my girlfriend wearing this but maybe when we're getting naughty and horny in the beginning of a sex game and not all the time if this is not comfortable for her! When somebody chooses the lingerie to wear during the day or night he or she has the right to choose the most comfy one not the most sexy or the one his/her partner wants.

The best thing my man ever did for me was take me to a lingerie store where he had already been in and picked out items that he wanted me to try on and watched me changing with his crotch getting bigger and bigger with every outfit! Lingerie makes any woman who is not so confident with their body image feel sexier as you can find something that hides what you want to hide and flaunt what your mumma gave ya!
