Late Period??!! Help!

you are in all probability not pregnant from what you describe and the timing,BUT YES you can get "std's or anything" eveni if you had sex one time or a million times. One thing, did you and your boyfriend use any type of protection when you almost had sex?? if not did he cum while he was trying to get it in?
As far as the STD's; that's a seperate issue--protection and using it. The general factors which can contribute to a late/missed cycle is: pregnancy (you said you both had clothes on), stress, weight loss, excessive exercise, thyroid imbalance, premature menopause. A STD will not change your cycle...If you have always been regular, I would contact your MD for a consult to see why your body is responding this way. If you have been irregular, I'd give it some time. But, if you have been sexually active w/no use of BC I would do a home preg. test especially if you have had any opportunity of semen getting near the vagina.

yes when we tried to have sex we used a condom....also i did loose about 5 pounds and i've been extremely stressed with school, which i hear could be a factor....i've been irregular before but never for this long.
Get two home pregnancy kits, different brands, and use them both - on successive days when your first empty your bladder in the morning.
Teen aged girls are notoriously irregular. That could be the answer. The other is that your boyfriend may not have penetrated fully but there were sperm swimming out of him the whole time. And it is not unusual for a partial period to occur very early in a pregnancy.
You are beyond the time limit for Plan B or its equivalent in birth control pills; you are still within the time that mifpristone (RU-486) should work. I am not recommending but those are the only emergency contraception measures available.
Yes, it is possible to simply "be late" as long as you learn something from this. If his penis is visible, it should have a condom on it and you should have an applicator of vaginal jelly in you.
If in your attempt to have intercourse he had a condom on (back in Dec.) I would attribute being late to stress & weight loss...
how do i know if i had a partial period? the flow was normal and i usually get it for about 6 days, yea that suxs, and i don't remember it being shorter
A "partial period" is one shorter and lighter than you usually have. So, it appears that you had a normal period.
your def not pregnant hun..
youre stressing about it..and thats causing you to be late etc..
thanxs everyone :)
