lack of natural lubrication

hey this is my first post.

i'm 18 and have been with my boyfriend for a bit longer than a year and he is my first real long-term partner. When we started having sex i had no problem getting wet during foreplay but about four months into our relationship i just can't seem to get wet enough for him to be able to enter. during the day i get very wet when i'm thinking about him but just can't when it counts.
we have tried longer foreplay and i get really turned on and sex is great but we have been having to use additional lubrication. its not that big of an issue but i don't want to have to use lube all the time.

i thought that maybe it may have something to do with my birthcontrol tablets....would they reduce moisture?
we don't use condoms but have both been checked for sexual diseases and know each other's history.

please any advice to help my lubrication problem?

the bill will affect it.. i found that... i was fine, then soon as i went on it.. WOooo went out the window... how long you been on it? because it takes me months to get used to the new chemical.., hmm sometimes it can be stress.. sometimes it can be.. it isnt as exciting as what your mind played it up to be.. before hand.. i think thats why it happens to women when they thinkabout it.. because.. its very...mental imagry... and feeling and what not, but when the person is acctuall ythere with you.. makes it different somehow.. LOL

no there's nothing at all wrong in the relationship and just like thetease13 i can be wet all day but just not when it's needed. i feel a bit better knowing i'm not the only one.

i will get checked out just to make sure but i feel better knowing i'm not alone.

thanks

I'm sorta on the same boat.
I can be wet all during the day, but when it comes time to acutally do it, I seem to be dry. It's odd really. And it doesn't have anything to do with nerves cause I'm completely calm around him.

And like lilly, I've been checked out and everything is fine down there.

So, I just use extra lube.

And as she also said, it's best to just get checked out. There's various reasons why you can go dry, and you might as well either confirm or eliminate some of those.

Have you been having any problems in the relationship? Was there any turning point in the relationship in the past four months that would have made a change.

Sometimes the mind does mysterious things to other parts of the body.

I have the same problems and it's actually rare that I get wet, so lube is my great friend, but I've been like that for forever. Doctor says everything is in working order.

You should always get checked out by the doctor any time you notice a major change in that area. Just to kind of make sure everything is still okay.. that there is no infection or anything like that. Not really an STD, just something bacterial or similar..
