My girlfriend and I recently bought a tube of KY lube to incorporate into out love making to hopefully counter the lack of lubricant after a couple of minutes of intercourse. Sometimes it works wonders, just like we expected. Then there are the other times. The times when just after we apply it, she leaps up looking for something to wipe with to relieve the intense burning sensation. I was wondering if this may be caused if she some how got rubbed a little raw(sorry for the graphic picture) before we administer the lube. My question is this: does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do you deal with it? Is there a different type of lube we should try?
We were using vaseline before the KY because that was what was availible to us. It seemed to work ok, but it wasn't the most convenient.
Thank you all.

KY lube burns her sometimes, what to use?!

I also had similar irritation from some lubes like Mandalay (bought from walgreens), KY with warming sensation also irritates skin on my hands and sometimes my pussy. Mandalay makes my hands all red, itchy & I have to put Benedryl Xtra strength on to releive itching & burning. KY Warming wouldnt do that to my pussy, but I notice the next day, the skin on my pussy lips is dry, cracking & peels like it was a sunburn!
We shower often while having our fun naked time (which can sometimes last all nite till sunrise), to wash off the lube & 'debris' (we have 3 dogs, so theres hair everywhere no matter how often u clean!). Especially when we go from KY to vaseline or flavored emotion lotion; mixing them on skin w/out cleaning can irritate anyone!
So what kind of lubricant can I use that he will also enjoy as much as he LOVES his Mandalay? I want us to both be satisfied, but not if I'm gonna be rashed out the next day!

Open to any suggestions, and also if anyone else has these problems w/ KY & Mandalay....

Yea well, without lube, there's people like me who would never get anywhere.
I hated using KY! It caused a buring sensation at times with me as well.
Stay away from lube with spermacide! Ouch!!!
I personally consider the natural way to be the best way! Though the famale body does not always permit this. Another natural alternative is saliva ;)
There is just something creepy about lube... in my mind, a wet pussy is not supposed to be cold! *shiver*

If you think she is allergic to an ingredient the bio-glide lubes are made from all natural ingredients and may help, it’s usually preservatives in products that are the problem.
I got mine here (I’m form the U.K) but I am sure they are sold globally

astroglide is okay, my Bf really dosen't like it though he really likes the Wet light and he got some flavored lune by ForPlay, and that's his new favorite. He said it works the best, for stroking.
I used to have tha problem. We used to use spermicide KY, which would cause problems. We trie Astroglide, and that seems to work much better with no porblems really. Try different kinds and see what works best. Thats probably the best thing you could try right now.
alright, I'll check it out. I have heard of Astroglide, and read that it is supposed to be about the best, anyone have an opinion? Thanks,
Drew
A great website to go to is www.condomania.com they probably have just about every lubricant out there, and my personal fav is Wet Light.
I had heard about the problem w/ vaseline and condoms, but she is on birth control, so most of the time we choose not to use them anyway. I guess we can try using lube from the get go, but sometimes it isn't necessary, so we prefer not to use it. Are there any particular lubes to steer clear of if she is sensitive?
Thanks again,
Drew
yes like you said she could be irritated before you put on the lube and it burns
maybe try making sure you have it on before you do anything
or try a different type. there are tons out there.
as for vaseline, thats not safe to use if you are using condoms b/c it breaks down the condom.
water based usually works best.
I've never heard of Mandalay.
But you know, I'm a big promoter of Astroglide cause it's helped me immensely, so I suggest trying that.
Other than get sticky after a while (as a lot of things will), and the bottle leaking if you lay it on it's side, I've never heard of anyone getting an irritation from it.
if you are still looking... cpntact me i know of this stuff called revelation and i know of a few more that are ok to use with condoms and a water based so they are safer. last longer too
