I know I should have gotten over this fear but I haven't and I need help. I have never performed oral on a girl! I have a fear of getting a STD that way. Can you helpful people please give me tips or ideas on how to get over it? I have had sex plenty of times but I always make up an excuse why I can't perform oral. How can I perform oral and be sure not to get a STD?

There aren't always visible signs for an STD. So you're right in being scared... and can't really tell who does or doesn't have it. I'm only recently hearing about many people who have them that I would of never thought have it. Go with sera300. I'm a girl and if a guy wanted to use a dental dam on me I'd be glad- shows he is protecting it. Less chance of him having something to pass onto me. Play safe ;)
Thousandth time: Most diseases that can be passed on genitally can also be passed on orally or through oral-genital contact. If you are playing the field, your concern is good and is protecting you. I am appalled by the number of people who are careful using a condom for vaginal intercourse but who blithely go down on their partners.

Test, re-test, and go only with those willing to do the same. Set up a regular schedule.
