Most vibrators are weak by comparison. The wand is mains powered and never runs out at the wrong time. The vibrations can be intense or soothing depending on settings and pressure.
If you want to try a dildo or butt plug......START SMALL......I really mean this. Big plugs are for experienced butt plug users and are too big for the average guy. It can be good fun trying a strap on as a bit of role reversal, but again, keep the size under an inch diameter, more likely about 20mm or less. Length is not usually a problem.
I have tried a Julie Ashton inflatable butt plug with vibrator, it is certainly interesting and you get the added thrill of a bit of anxiety as it is inflated (its big to start with and your going to feel a bit of pain if you dont go slowly, even with it fully de-flated).
Tried one of the cheaper inflatable balloons.......rubbish, very weak.

You can get things like Unisex Vibrators or just a normal vibrator that is slim enough for anal use.
