At first I thought I had a UTI because I had used two siphons of spermicidal foam in place of condoms and did not go to the bathroom right after sex. I had the typical painful "burning" associated with a urinary tract infection, but nearly 800 mL of cranberry juice and about 40 pure cranberry tablets later (over the course of about a week), along with abstaining from sex, I had felt pretty much better.
Now it seems to be coming and going, and along with it, although seemingly independent, are sensations of what I can only describe as itchiness right at my vaginal opening. there is no pain, just an itchy irritating feeling.
I really don't think this is a yeast infection as nothing really "burns" except at times, my urethra, and that has lessened considerably to the point of near-nonexistence. I have no abnormal discharge, although at times my urine has had a rather pungent odour (I have been in my mind attributiing this to the presence of E. Coli because of a suspected UTI).
Is this a possible STD? a side effect of something? Just some skin irritation? a possible allergic reaction to nonoxynol-9?
I have not had any other partners other than my boyfriend of two years, so anonymity is not a question.
Any input you may have would be greatly appreciated!!! thank you :D.

If you believe you have a UTI need to see a doc and get on an antibiotic. You should have a urine specimen done & culture. Also, you could have an accompanying vaginitis. Need to see a MD...
See a doctor. Clearly a vaginitis of some sort and there are many varieties.
Thanks a lot!!! :)
