Over the last couple of weeks my right nipple has been very sensitive to touch and always itchy feeling. There is no visual difference and it is only the right one, not the left.It is not painful or anything like that, just very irritating. Any ideas on what might be going on?

Just a thought; you've recently posted about possibly going into menopause. I remember my mom experiencing itchy feelings in her breasts while she was; the exact place(s) varying over the weeks and sometimes other parts of her body as well. So maybe that's it?
Could be as simple as an unbound seam in a bra. Could be reaction to soap or body wash you are using or, even, the soap you use to wash you bra. Place a protector over it for a few days. Nursing pads are good to cover this for a bit. See my signature!
