Okay, so i'm kind of embarassed about this, but i need to ask about it...
I lost my virginity to my boyfriend just over a week ago... He was really good about it and everything, and i'm happy with how it went (although it was painful). My issue however, is with the days that followed... several days after we had sex, i started experiencing itching on my labia, and a little bit in my vagina.
Now there are a few factors here... I had sex on a thursday, and my period started on the following monday (i use tampons). The itching started around tuesday or wednesday. it is now sunday, and my period is almost over, but my panty liner is catching a pinkish/red discharge. (i'm assuming part of it is blood left over from my period, but the pink concerns me. its sort of translucent)
The other factor is that I also have tonsilitis right now. it started on tuesday, and i recieved anti-biotics and began the prescription in full on friday. I have heard that strong anti-biotics can cause yeast infections, so I take Acidophilus (not sure of the spelling) suppliments along with my prescrition (instead of eating yogurt... i hate yogurt).
I was speaking with my mother about my first time having sex, and she mentioned (without my telling her about the itch) that if i get a bit itchy after the first time, it might be normal. is this true? she said that sometimes women may have an allergic reaction. She also mentioned that she is allergic to my fathers sperm (not information i really wanted to know, but is useful knowledge, haha). although my boyfriend did not ejaculate in me (there was very little thrusting at all), could this be my issue? (we didnt use a condom... i know, not very smart)
I REALLY REALLY hope to god that I didn't end up with an STI or anything like that... I'm hoping it may just be a yeast infection or something, but please, let me know what the possibilities are, and what i can do to avoid the same reaction next time. I would like to continue trying to work with my boyfriend towards making sex pleasurable; for both of us.

i was itchy after my first time but then i ended up with a urinary tract infection, i don't know if that was related but it never hurts to ask a doctor
There are too manyvariables in your story to sort things out without examination. The anti-biotics are the most likely cause of the itching: you probably have a yeast inflammation. May or may not go away on its own.
Sperm allergy or partner allergy is more common than most people think. You may have an allergy but, more possibly, is there was some abrasion and that itches as it heals. I think the yeast a more plausible answer.
I cannot explain "the pink." That would require examination if it continues. If you are really concerned about having contracted something, then your decision to go bare was even dumber. That would really require checking.
I still go with the anti-biotics upsetting the eco-balance of your vagina.
