Is it safe to buy ED medicines from Online Pharmacies?
I know many people that order Viagra or Cialis online just to save their money. Is that safe and how one can avoid fake pills or fake pharmacies that we all know there are so many all over the net.

It's safe to buy pills online as far as you know a reliable site and you trust it.

As a general rule, and even though drug manufacturers often have oversees manufacturing facilities, actually purchasing products from online vendors is risky at best. As noted, there are many unscrupulous website vendors.

Some have all the equipment to make capsules and (sugar?) pills with all the right colors and markings. Speaking of sugar, you just never know if you are dealing with a respectable vendor or one who is out to get your money and send you sugar--or worse!

In the U.S.A., medicines are regulated, unfortunately there is a price to pay for this "insurance". Better me thinks to pay the premium and know you will be safe. Also, many drugs are available only by prescription. There is a reason why. Don't try to fool with Mother Nature, as the saying goes because you might live to regret being "cheap".

The best estimates by various drug enforcement agencies is that 10% of "branded" medications around the world are fake. Online, the risk is higher. They have been found online and in legitimate pharmacies in every country that checks. Risks exist. The leading drug retailers, Hook's UK, Walgreen US, have very good quality control programs and carry little risk. Smaller retailers have slightly higher risks. Online? Who knows. You do not know who they are, where they are, where manufacturing is, or where the fulfillment is done. Nor do you know how they are controlled in shipment.

The most common fakes are simply inert compounds that do nothing. Next most common are pills with a compound to replicate the side-effects but they, of course, do not do what you want; only give you exaggerated side-effects to satisfy your curiousity.

It's not safe to buy drugs online but if you do it regularly the savings are big
I'm ordering Viagra on a regular base on www.generic-meds-store.com and I save a lot
I found this pharmacy by chance and the fact that payment pages begin with https made me think it's safe. Indeed the site is secure, never had problems with my shippings.

All three of the major ED drugs Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra are still protected by patent in the U.S. (Viagra loses this protection next year.) This means that importing them may be subject to seizure by U. S. Customs. In fact, it appears that Customs tends to ignore small quantities imported for personal use, but I am not sure that you can count on this.

The sale of ineffective or even harmful counterfeit medications has been well documented. On the other hand, in some countries such as India, differences in patent law may make the local manufacture of these drugs legal and there is evidence that some sources provide drugs which are indeed the equivalent of those sold through standard channels in the U. S.

There have also been reports of credit card abuse which seem traceable to the purchase of medicines abroad. Note that some credit card companies will provide you with "one time use numbers" to avoid this.

So, there you have it -- the moral and legal issues of violating American law, the possibility of not receiving the chemical that you believe you are buying, and the possibility of other types of criminal activity associated with the transaction. Each person must make their own decision on balancing the risk.

Please refer to Brandye's post. In addition, the fact that a website has https for a "secure" transaction simply means that the data is unlikely to get intercepted by a 3rd party. It does NOT mean that the intended recipient of that payment is in any way trustworthy to not use the information you send for immoral things. In fact, this post reeks of spam by someone who is scamming people.

Most National Health Services, insurance companies and some retail pharmacies have online sites, all OK and require prescriptions. Beware of any other site for any medication. Those that send email spam should be avoided completely.

[QUOTE=stevewonder;272038]Where do they ship orders from?

I was buying generic cialis online and my orders were sent from India, I hade Customs problems several times and last time lost the whole order.
