I didn't know what it was, but all I could do was roll around for awhile, trying to stop it. Eventually, he helped me get dressed and I asked him to help me to the washroom. After I peed, it went away. Anyone have this happen before, or know why?

Well, it probably felt good, for a change, simply because you relaxed and allowed things to happen. As for the pain, it was not in a location that comes with ovulation. I would guess that you were building a need to urinet (all the drinking) and when he stopped, you tightened up again and there was a spasm of the sphincters holding back urination.
