My first time didn't hurt...at least, not like I thought it would. Alot of women told me it hurt like hell their first time, but when my boyfriend pushed inside me it was a little awkward at first, and then it felt good. I mean, I experienced a little discomfort, like he was stretching me, but not like I felt my hymen tearing away. Although, I did expericence light, menstrual-like cramps afterwards...is this normal? I mean, I know the hymen can start to break down from other things--such as tampons, which I use. I just was expecting this great pain that never happened...could something be wrong? Or am I just lucky?

You did get lucky. BUt also not every woman gets hurt like hel the first time. First time for me, I didn't feel much really, but it could also have been cause my bf was extremely tiny. BUt the firts time with my currect bf, it did hurt like hel. So, it depends on bunch of things.

like you i just felt a little discomfort but nothing major.
i also had used tampons and masturbated w/ multiple fingers so i dont even remember when my hymen broke. some women have very thin ones some have very tough ones.
theres nothing to worry about.
i only had pain when i got on top... but.. mine didn't hurt either... but i didnt think it really would.. cause i never thought about it..
