When my GF and I started having sex, she was happy with once every two weeks, now she wants it 3 or more times a week. This being more in line with my drive. The change has been gradual, I am wondering if a change in sex the female sex drive is not unheard of at the least. Don't get me wrong I greatly enjoy it and am not complaining, just a curiosity. I am unsure but this maybe pertainent, she hadn't had sex in about a year before we meet and her previous partner was a "once a month" sort of person, according to her.

Increase in female sex drive.

Weird thing for me. After having my 1st pregnancy I noticed an increase. After the delivery I had to wait but the 3rd months after that I craved sex constantly. I didnt question it just enjoyed it all.
It could be that she is slowly getting used to having it whenever she would like, and perhaps it is just that good. I mean my ex we both lost our virginities together, and she was a once a month to maybe 2 weeks. (also because of time) But then she finally was able to move past some hang ups, and she finally got use to the feeling of having sex, and next thing I know she was wanting me to pull over into a dark parking lot before I dropped her off at home, and such.
Perhaps she is now really enjoying it, is comfortable with herself/you, or with her own sexuality. Generally the more you enjoy and have it, the gradual increase in wants...watch it next its going to be a few times a day.
Also, she may also have become more emotionally attached to you as well; increases drive.
I think everyone's sex drive changes over the years and according to other events and influences in one's life. I have also learned to have sex three times a week. I used to think that anything less than daily was going to kill me.
A persons sex drive fluctuates according to so many different things; comfort level, emotional attachment, stress, fatigue, etc. I think that generally, womens interest in sex increases as they age and become more comfortable with their own sexuality. And being comfortable with whomever you are being intimate with makes a huge difference.
Hormones and what's going on in her head determine sex drive. Your situation is very common.
Thank you all for your responses.
