Dunno. We either a) use condoms or b) he doesn't come in me. Totally not risking the pregnancy thing (and cannot comprehend why a 14 year old would want to either).
She was on the pill and we were both virgins.
And? The pill isn't completely effective and I still don't understand why a 14 year old would want to have sex anyways.

The pill doesn't offer any protection against STDs. Use a condom as well.

The pill is better than 99% effective when used correctly.

MORE THAN 99% effective??? sorry but that is a dangerous statistic to use ON this BB...it's more like "The Pill is 92-99.7% effective as birth control. It does not protect against reproductive tract infections, including HIV/AIDS."..and that is when it is DILIGENTLY taken,all other hormonal factors and medical factors are taken into consideration....Brandey did post some stat's on this...and I'll dig them...and YES...read your disclaimer "when used correctly"...have a look at the posts on this BB...half the people can't read the instructions to the area...let alone trusting them to follow thru with DETAILED instructions on BirthControl!

Accurate statistics are not "dangerous." Failure to use something correctly is, however. And the fact that the pill doesn't protect against STIs is irrelevant to this particular discussion.
I"m gonna stick with the FACT that the pill is NOT more than 99% effective..but obviously you have scientific statistical data that prove otherwise. My opinion is that in the real world...it is significantly LESS than 99% effective...the STI thing was part of the paper.anyone with a 1/4 of a brain knows that the PILL does NOTHING for STD's....we'll agree to disagree on the effectiveness..:)
