You should just talk to him and explain how you feel and see what he says. If the feeling is mutual then discuss his current relationship and find out if you two should be together instead. Then if it works out, you'll get to be with the guy you want

I wouldn't until he's not with the girl..i'm not giving you a morals lesson but he probably just wants something on the side and I don't think you would want your first to be with someone who isn't WITH you..

OMG - listen, the girl he's currently with is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Forget her. It is HIM you have to worry about. Just stop that whole rivals/jealousy bs right now. Stop, take a deep breath, and look around. What's so wrong with this guy here? How about that guy over there? Develop your instincts so you can tell if a man is worthy or not. Do you LIKE him and are not just in lust with him? You do not have to love him, mind you, but some affection and liking makes it better.
