me and my girl are a little crazy, and we run really wild with the whole femdom angle, here pretty soon she'll be using a strapon on me. I was curious, will not happen for awhile, but i was reading somewhere that someone used icy hot as a lube, now i know this would burn like none other, and hurt, but that's the part i really get into, like i said we're crazy, is this safe at all, or will this possibly mess me up in some way? thanks

'Icy Hot' as a lube ... safe?

I've heard you can use stuff like that for instance hardon...but balls causes pain...IDK if it will burn or not...but I dont think your supposed to use it on any orifices or cuts (which will probably happen with anal and a strap on)
yuh, i know, but i want to use it for the stinging pain...my girl loves to see me squirm and i know that this'd be one way, and it does turn me on a bit
well I am sure that using any other lube would cause the little stingy tears...Im saying for health reasons...check the icy hot to see what it says about using it on cuts and stuff
thanks a lot
NO< NO< NO< NO>
Did I say do NOT use it as a lube? That stuff will make a mess of a vagina.
i'm not using it on a vagina
Brandye he is having his gf penetrate him with a strap on (anally). He wants the pain because it turns him and his gf both on.
Have you used IcyHot on yourself before? If I recall correctly, IcyHot contains menthol, which some people are extremely sensitive. Menthol on my skin results in feelings akin to third-degree burns, and Stub, trust me, we are not talking about the good kind of pain here.
Use it on your stomach and the tops of your thighs before you try it on your genital or perianal regions.
IcyHot is not meant for "internal use". You do so as at your own risk.
YES, it will mess you up.
Instead of using that as a lube - btw, you will need to use a 'heavier' lube anyway, not the stuff used for vaginas - have the pain added externally, flogger, clawing etc. Safer and better over the 'long-haul' of a continued relationship. Don't want to wear the guy out!
a friend of mine said he tried icy hot while jacking off, said it wasn't one of his better ideas and that he pretty much cried. i don't know about anal, but icy hot on the penis is a terrible idea!
Harsh chemicals are never 'a good idea' no matter where you put them!
I am soo with Brandye on this one: the answer is [SIZE="6">HELL NO!![/SIZE]
I've never heard of 'icy hot'. Maybe its a product we don't get in Australia. I've used a lubricant called 'Ice', which is a standard water-based lube except that it contains menthol. The effect is quite mild, but it feels great. Has a delightful hot and cold feeling, a bit like sucking a peppermint, if you get the idea.
Cycle.. do you guys have Bengay? similar stuff.
Basically it's a cream type product that you apply to muscle aches. Most of those types of products work by causing a different type of pain so that you are distracted by the original muscle pain LOL... or my experience at least.
I'm not familiar with that product, don't think I've seen it here. We have a product called 'deep heat' which is for muscle aches. Also, I was given a jar of 'electric medicated balm' by a friend, which is an imported asian product. Smells the same, so probably contains similar ingredients. Gives a good feeling of relief (maybe illusory) for muscular aches and pains. One day, purely out of curiosity, I thought I'd try putting some on my penis to see what it felt like. Ye gods! Never again! (Lesson learnt.)
HAHA
Yea probably the same thing cycle.
So the verdict is that anything used for muscle pain definitely causes penis pain when used as a lube, LOL.
But this guy IS looking for pain... so I guess it's a go!
No it isn't a go. There is a difference between temporary pain for pleasure during sex and PERMANENT pain through injured soft tissues esp there! Every time he tries to move his bowels, OUCH! Doesn't sound like a 'go' to me! Then he'd have to explain it to the hospital staff. I can hear the laughter now! Talk about never living a mistake down....

thanks guys, glad that is cleared up
Icyhot, or other menthol ointments are quite frequently used in the bdsm community for masochistic pleasure. I'm told it's a similar pain to using TENS machines, the electric pulse things. However, the issue with menthol is once applied, you can't just switch it off, there is almost nothing you can do to ease the pain, so, if anyone wants to try this, take a cautious approach, test with tiny amounts if you think it might be for you.
It's worth adding, just like an oil fire... whatever you do don't apply water to try and make it hurt less. Using other lotions like camomile can ease it off though.
Alternatively, a better place to start might be with some of the commercial lubes, I know Durex have a range of proper lubricants with milder mint or spice tones. These ARE approved for internal use.
my friend tried using it to masturbate and it caused is urethra to burn, and me and my other friend where outside the bathroom laughing our ass's off to his screams of pain. and in my oppinion the KY touch got too hot while i was using it and actually caused pain from the heat so icy hot would probably be worse, and do women get the heat feeling inside their vagina?
um... yeah, accidentally used icyhot as deoderant. it hurt like a bitch on a period and i almost passed out from the pain. so yeah, not a good idea.
I realize this thread is old as hell, but I do have some experience in the field... my girlfriend back when I was 18-19 was very interested in female domination and introduced me to butt plugs. Once as a punishment, my butt plug was coated in IcyHot and was secured in with a locking leather harness. I was begging for mercy after a mere 45 or so minutes.
...needless to say, it was quite an experience. I'd never want to do it again, definitely corrected my behavior... ;P
