I want to be a hermaphrodite

I'm a girl, who wants a dick instead of a clit. Is there anywhere you can get the surgery for it? I don't mind where in the world I can get it done, I also want to keep my female organs and my vagina. :D. I won the lotto so I'm 100% sure that I want to get it done.

I'm serious about this :D

My guess is that the process will be similar to those who want to change genders.
* First a psych profile and discussion
* Second, if it is possible to enlarge the clitoris, then that.

I have never heard of a clitoris (shaft and tip) being enlarged, although I guess the methodology would not be that different than it is for males of the species.

Someone way more knowledgeable about the subject than me will have to weigh in.

I wonder if I can get my girlfriend pregnant with it.

Anybody know any surgeons who can do it for me? I'm so excited in getting a dick. I might consider a transplant for the male organs.

"I wonder if I can get my girlfriend pregnant with it."
Now I know you're joking.

If you're actually considering it think about finding someone who likes that sort of stuff.
I know many people like transsexuals and hermaphrodites but it's usually only for sex/porn and not actual relationship.

YOU DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO GROW A PENIS!
(just kidding, do what makes you happy :))

I watched when Oprah had the "guy" that was pregnant on. He was a transexual that didn't have the operation, Basically he had a penis, but his vagina and internal organs were still intact. The interesting thing was how he got his penis...hormone therapy. He was given fairly large doses of testosterone and his body started to "grow" a penis. He said it's not a large one, but it is there. If I understand it correctly that is the first step before a sex change operation is performed and the doctors can make it bigger at that time.

In your case I'm not sure a doctor would help you out. Wanting to stay a woman, but wanting a penis doesn't really fall into the "born the wrong sex" category. The hormone therapy to start the process would wreak havoc on your womanhood and I'm not sure a doctor can even do that without a battery of psychological tests.

As for getting a girl pregnant...no.

> I'm serious about this

How old are you?

Why do you want to accomplish this?

Why do you not want a complete gender change?

> I wonder if I can get my girlfriend pregnant with it.

How much anatomy and biology have you studied? This seems to be such an elementary question that makes me wonder about other questions, also.

> I'm so excited in getting a dick. I might consider a transplant for the male organs.

How much research have you done on the subject of gender change?
FYI: When a female makes the change to male, the vagina is reworked into a penis.

You need to begin educating yourself and also doing some research. There is much more to what you want to do than wishful thinking and money.

Do a search on "gender reassignment surgery female to male." Yes, it is done. You start with a local doctor who can make the appropriate referrals. My guess is that if you were serious you would already have the done the initial research.

Yeah, I did some research, nothing comes up as female to hermaphrodite. I'll get a transplant then.

I'm 19 years old. I've done vagina to vagina rubbing before (tribadism). A few 69's and I had sex in a classroom without being caught. That's my sexperience.

So are you only attracted to women?

I agree w/ another poster in stating do what you want.. but also be aware of what other people are looking for in a mate. They might just want a lesbian, not one w/ both parts. Im trying to figure out how'd that all work? LOL

good luck!

Hey, I heard that your clit will enlarge if you inject testosterone into it. Is that true?

Please don't take any of the following as personal insults. It's just observations on my part and meant to be thought provoking.

You're 19. Take some time and REALLY think this through, doing A LOT of IN DEPTH research into this. You won the lotto, good for you, put it in the bank. If in the end you still decide to do this, the money will be there, and will have earned interest also--so much the better!!

We had a member on here a while back who was thinking of getting her tubes tied at 18. Honestly, IMO, making MAJOR, life altering, PERMANENT choices such as this at your age range is a horrible idea (no offense to either one of you). Your age group is notorious for THINKING they have thought absolutely everything through to the hilt and THINKING they know what they want long term. But in reality people your age often have no earthly clue in the grand scheme, because they can't see past whose party they're going to next weekend.

Before doing this, you shouldn't be sure it's what you want. You should be sure this is the absolute best choice you could make with your life. Ginormous difference there.

A few things you've said in this thread lead me to believe you still have some maturing to do--physically, emotionally, mentally, experientially. If what you list is the sum total of your sexual experience I think you need a lot more before you decide to change your body this dramatically.

My advice: get a strap on for now if you're that into having a penis. Take a few years, gather tons of information. You may find that your opinions on this change and that it's not for you. If you DO decide in the end this is honestly the best thing for you, best of luck.

LOL oh lordy lordy - YR531 - you haven't even begun to live and yet you want to do this MAJOR IRREVERSIBLE operation?

What are you RUNNING AWAY from?

Thank you for telling us your age. It is great that you are asking questions; however, the rest of my questions have not been answered and I would appreciate the courtesy of a reply. If you choose not to answer my questions, I believe you will fail a mandatory psychological evaluation. The rest of your responses are both naive and reactionary and tell us what you will do without consideration for what can be done or is even possible.

> I'll get a transplant then.

I rather doubt that the unique hormone balance specific to each gender can coexist. Your comment makes it sound like you believe all that is necessary is to find an organ donor and attach a penis like building a doll out of play dough.

> I wonder if I can get my girlfriend pregnant with it.

In addition to having the proper hormonal balance, you also need a scrotum, testes, prostate, including all the associated glands, plus the plumbing! if you expect to be able to produce semen and sperm--not that it is possible. Oh, yes, and then there is the not so easy task of "wiring" all these organs to the brain so that they function as a team. Unlike the popular comment frequently made, a penis does not have a brain of its own. Again, the answer to your question about being able to impregnate someone is "no".

Even if attaching all these male body parts to your anatomy and hooking them up was possible, have you considered all of the anti-rejection meds you will be taking for the rest of your life? Do you know what changes they make to your body?

> I heard that your clit will enlarge if you inject testosterone into it. Is that true?

Testosterone injections are a whole body experience. Having the hormone in your body will lower your voice, dramatically increase body hair and thickness, add bulk to your feminine stature, to name a few of the changes you can expect. The answer to your question is "no".

Even if a clitoris would grow as a result of injections, the shaft is still buried, does not have external skin, and would never become the entity a penis is. Now, this begs another question for you: Do you wish to urinate using your existing plumbing, or, do you want it to be rerouted and connected to the transplanted penis assuming for the sake of discussion that this was accomplished?

> Anybody know any surgeons who can do it for me?

Here in the good ol' U.S. of A., there are several places that you can go to to have a gender reassignment. One of the best is in Texas.

> I'm so excited in getting a dick. I might consider a transplant for the male organs.

I suggest talking to your doctor, getting a referral to a gender reassignment clinic, and, most importantly, undergoing the psychological testing that is always a prerequisite.

Brandye:

What do you know about the testes, will they continue to function under the influence of testosterone assuming for the sake of argument that they could be transplanted?

YR, you have to understand that even if these changes and modifications to your body were possible and were done, that the sperm would not be carrying your own DNA unless I misunderstand all that I once knew about this.

I would still like to know why you want both sets of "plumbing". Why do you wish to have a penis and why do you wish to keep your female organs? Is your plan to continue enjoying the benefits of being a woman and having vaginal intercourse? What about you becoming pregnant? I am presuming that by having a penis that you wish to enjoy and take on the male role, also. Knowing this will help those of us interested in working with you some perspective on how to form our responses.

As stated in my first reply, a faux penis is fashioned from the vagina. Perhaps one can be constructed from skin grafts from another area of the body, I do not know. My point being, it is not a fully functional organ. It is my understanding that erections are contrived by using either a semi-rigid implant or a bladder and pump. What is it that you want a penis to do for you?

PEOPLE - nevermind the technicalities...

WHY? should be the MAJOR focus of this discussion because thus far YR531 has NOT stated the deep inner reasons of WHY she wants to do this.

WHAT is she running AWAY FROM?
