In my experience, by boyfriends have gone with other guys and it was a guy thing to do. They went as a group (and left without strippers!) and came home wanting to see their girlfriends. It never really bothered me because I knew he was coming home to me!

Going to the strip club is a guy thing. Its really a group outing sort of speak. I personally have never went to one, even though all my boys r setting a date up as we speak. I don't see the point of going. Think about this why wuld I wana keep giving a woman money to tease me. Let alone this is my money it seems like a waste I can take that money get me sumthing to eat or go out wit my girl.

Its truly a party atmosphere, some guys like it, some dont. I dont make it a ritual, but I dont mind going either, I like to go a couple of times a year. You need to be sure enough of yourself to dont care if he goes, hell go with him. If you cant trust him to go there, then you have some issues other then strip clubs. Trust me 99 percent of those guys dont go home with a stripper. I use to be a bouncer at one. You can go out and get hungry all you want, as long as you go home for dinner, my daddy always said!

Okay, if those are your tits then you know hot. But yes some strippers are totally hot. I'm surprised that a woman of your statue isnt more open minded to the idea of strippers. Its no more different then a woman kissen her bosses ass at work to get a better review on her job. Some stripers are as you discribed, but some arent. I've known some that were totally hot and very sexual, and got turned on by her job and took that home to her husband. Its a GREAT paying job that some women have a asset's to do. Some women dont, I've also seen some disgusting ones, but I've seen some hot ones too. I knew one girl that had been married and with three kids, her husband was killed in IRAQ, so she did what she could to turn a buck. She wasnt selling herself, but a view of her body. She milked those guys for every dollar they are worth. But yeah, you have a point that some are totally gone, but some are totally doing it for the cash. In this case the girl was doing it for her kids, the money she got from the military wasnt enough to pay for it all.... so she did what she could. She was drug free, slut free, and a very very good mother.

I don't think Brandye's post had anything to do with her not being open-minded to the idea of strippers. She was merely making a statement about the common problems that strippers have.

Strippers and strip clubs don't really do much for me.

Having said that, I have been before because a close female friend of mine worked at a strip club. She is a very sexual person and very comfortable with her body. I enjoyed watching her show and cheered her on, but more because she was a good mate rather than being aroused/turned on. It was just FUN, rather than particularly sexual. I'd cheer her on the same if she was up doing karaoke in a bar.

Her coworkers were also a really fun group. I didn't really get into their shows but in-between shows they would often come through the bar itself and chat to people. I enjoyed that a lot more - getting up and having a dance and a chat with them.

So yeah, for some guys (myself included), it's just harmless fun, rather than being "let's go see some titties!"

I dont go to strip clubs because they are worthless and pathetic. More than half the dancers are strung out on meth, coke, or whatever they can get their dirty hands on. They are also liars and whores. I will not give a club money to watch whores dance when I can watch plenty of chics dancing in my home, weather on TV or the computer. So heres 1 guy who does not get of on strip clubs, hope this helps!

There are some relatively classy "gentlemen's clubs" in some major metropolitan areas - usually convention cities. There are also some really "pathetic" places on the outskirts of those same cities. Ironically, when I was traveling, it seemed to me that the more conservative the city, the more "adult entertainment" was available.

And there are probably hundreds of reasons some women perform: many do it for the money, some do it for the fun, and (I suspect) some do it because they hate men and enjoy "teasing" them and taking their money.

There are also probably hundreds of reasons why a guy goes: some to blow off steam, some to feel "free," some to enjoy the entertainment... I knew one such place that a great lunch special.

Strip clubs? Lots of opinons on them I see. There are classy ones, dives, in between and some that are slutty. The thing about a strip club is, the women are showing you attention and a very sexy way. Men are not stupid, well some are, but we know it is because they want to get money out of us, but, at least it is some sexually suggestive attention and we do not have to ask for it. Every man want a lady in public, but in private, we want to see the stripper in you. If you have it in you, show it, if you don't try it, if you don't show you man the attention he needs, he might go to a strip club. And yes, we know if we don't show you the attention you need.......
Most women do not realize that they can be sexy no matter what they look like. I have seen body types that would normally not turn me on at a strip club, but the way they move, their attitude, that look in their eyes, (yes I know they are tryin to earn) - still can get the motor hummin. When the wife steps out in lingeria, it is nice, but it helps if she comes on to me, not just stand there like, ok I dressed up for ya, now you do all the work. Unlease the stripper in ya. There's no sin, and no reflection on one's partner, in going to strip joints, watching porn, or masturbating. People need to get those thoughts out of their mind because all they do is set you (or your partner) up for a sexual inferiority complex. Bottom line: people like to fantasize. I've only been to a couple of strip clubs and while I did have fun, I felt that it was vastly overrated since I would much rather use my hard earned money to find a woman who would be more than happy to do all of the stuff I see in strip clubs for free and go all the way afterwards.

Some of the girls there are pretty, and small few are quite HOT, most are average, but they all know how to gyrate their body and tell you that you are the sexiest man in the room all while sitting in your lap and waiting for you to hand over money. SOME not ALL men go to strip clubs to get attention. I have tons of friends who go just to watch girls dance, they never buy a lapdance. They just sit at a table in the back and watch the show and have a few drinks. I know guys who take their girlfriends.

Personally I have no interest in going to one. I don't need women to stroke my ego or "pay attention to me". I really could care less if a women wants to sit on my lap and tell me how amazing I am. My ego is the product of my own successes and failures, not some naked girl dancing in front of me because I paid her to "make me feel special".

I used to go to strip clubs. Not so much anymore. Got a bit old. Good fun though back in the day. And my time in the chapagne room was awesome!

Why not strippers after all. God knows there isn't enough sex to go around (or else why would there be so much demand for it). If only every woman was like EEK. Then we'd all be happier.

Why did the clubs get old? Eventually, prostitutes are cheaper (at least in my neck of the woods). Then, you find that you're actually missing out on part of the sexual experience and that's the RELATIONSHIP. Yeah, sex and sexuality without the relationship is kinda blah... Women seem to be more attuned to this than men. Heck, I know some men never really get into the relationship thing at all. I thought I was one of them, but I've discovered differently.

Of course, sex with the relationship can get kinda blah too (unless your lucky or smart, or work really hard at it or something). At that point, it's probably not a good idea to go to the strip club again (especially if you're still married), but it's an idea.

Anyways, why strip clubs? There's another argument. It's a way for young women to use their sexual desirability (which is at its peak) to strip resources (i.e. cash) from men. It works like a charm. Oldest racket in the world. Men, desiring said women at the peak of their desireability, gladly part with their money. Stupid yes, but no one ever said men are the paragon of intelligence. And, after you have enough cash, why shouldn't you blow it on some attractive woman who'll gyrate on your lap and rub her breasts in your face. It's better than buying oatmeal I gotta tell ya. I've done both so I'm pretty confident in my assessment of the purchases.
