I have contracted herpes. I now feel completely diminished as a man. I don't know what to do now. Do I need to preface every new sexual experience with "... by the way I have Herpes."

Your doctor should have a bunch of answers for you. And he or she would probably be more correct and more helpful then we could be. My recommendation is go to doctor, discuss what options you got and whatever questions you have.
