Stormy, you cannot change a person from low sex drive to high sex drive - not possible without heavy medical intervention. If he truly wished to change, he'd take care of it on his own. As it is, like him for who he is but don't expect more than what you are already seeing fom him.
Every once in a while we read an account of a guy who rarely if ever masturbates compared to the masses who do it more than once a day to every day or so.

The cause is probably the opposite. He may have low hormones levels or an imbalance and if so then this would cause the lack of drive. If he is content with this then he is probably living a rather peaceful existance free of stress that most of us have to reduce through frequent masturbation. I'm not sure what to say to this. Generally speaking, a guy with a healthy sex drive will end up masturbating (perhaps secretly) even though he may have been brought up with the notion that the activity is "bad". The drive simply overwhelms the rationale.
As for not wanting you to masturbate, this may be tied to his upbringing, or, his insecurities when he sees you doing it. You'd have to ask him where his head is at on this.
sometimes i dont masturbate for days because of the tiredness from extreme physical activity. During the holidays i have extreme fitness training for soccer (which goes on from morning to evening) where we do sprints, practise, long runs.
