ok so the first time i had sex i got a uniary track infection that my doctor said was common when girls had just recently lost there virginity. I had sex on saturday and when i got home i was sore (it hurt to sit and bend) so i thought nothing of it. but it's still a little swollen and a little itchy, is this normal? or am i having another infection? could it be an allergect reaction or am i over reacting? ps we use condoms both times

Your doctor is correct and some women are more susceptible than others to UTI. I see two very real possibilities in addition to not having the infection healed in the first place: 1. Allergy to latex. Use polyurethane condoms instead of latex. All major brands have them and most Durex brand are poly. 2. Abrasion. Latex condoms are quite abrasive at a microscopic level. Poly are smoother. The time that I ended up standing for several days followed a wild weekend in which my partner and I went through an unbelieveable number of condoms and I was just rubbed raw. Wrinkles in the condom can make this worse.
If those do not work, try the female condom. They may be funny looking but they are effective. AAlthough they are quite expensive, the UN is distributing them around the third world with directions for reusing them. Rinse them thoroughly and give them a vinegar soak. You can get several uses that way. Put vaginal jelly in you and in the condom.
