I've read so many threads on masturbating yourself to orgasm but no matter how hard I get I can't get past that "almost there" feeling (or so I'm assuming). I get really sensitive and my body seems to turn to jelly and then I just can't make myself continue. I know they say that most women have orgasms by themselves before they have them with a partner but it seems I get closer when my boyfriend tries than when I'm alone. He seems to have given up on that though as he's become a semi-selfish lover and I've still never had an orgasm. Is it true that some women are encapable of orgasming until in their 20s or is that untrue. Is there anything I can do to help myself get past the "almost there" feeling or am I a lost cause?

I cant seem to climax

Here is some reading material that was written to help the situation you find yourself in. It is quite common, so do not think you are unique in not being able to climax--yet.

The oldest patient I have had who experienced her first orgasm was 54. It is not uncommon for women in their thirties to finally get there. And a quarter of all women never experience orgasm. There is no physiological reason for this delay. Being with a selfish lover is no help.
Many women first make it with a vibrator. This need not be a "sex toy shoppe" vibrator; there are all sorts of them available - such as leaning on the corner of a washer during spin cycle.
