I'm not a cardholder at a gym so do not know about exercse beyond the machines we have at home, nor do I understand all the ramifications of body building, so, I wonder the same thing about Presly87. Why can't she work out and have sex? Maybe it is the degree of the effort she is putting forth. Does the same thing happen to women athletes? I know menstration stops, but what about drive?
Perhaps a middle ground? I've seen a couple of women body builders and while they had attractive faces, their bodies were a turnoff. I believe a certain amount of tone is a good thing so if you have a toned body, maintain your health, and have sex, then this is your solution.
As long as you are eating a healthy, balanced diet that gets enough proteins, vitamins and minerals into your bady, you should have no problem supporting both activies. However if you are really worried you could ask your doctor (or personal trainer, maybe) about your concerns. Good luck!
As far as exercise goes, start by walking and running to help build up some endurance before moving on to anerobic exercises. Pushups, situps, crunches, pullups, dumbells, and running should keep you in at least decent shape. Remember to take exercise in moderation, and to start out slow.
first i am a guy,u know the mucsules need proteins to grow and if i have sex i will get all of these minerals out of my body,so i think i cant right?
Yes, muscles do require protein to build faster, and no you can not ejaculate all the protein from your body if that is what you are implying.
And, most body builders take a protein shake/bar/etc before and after their workouts.
I know it's an old post but I was bored.......Sex and masturbation do have an impact on weightlifting.....I've been a body builder for 13 years and have learned to time myslef for both activities. It's not just about your protein, it's your hormones too. In order to do it effectively, your body needs large amounts of testosterone for your "drive". Burn a good portion of that before a workout and you lose your focus. I know there's someone who will disagree but unless you have my experience, you'll never understand. You will have to have sex often to be able to loose all the protein that you want to use for bodybuilding.
The body is an amassing thing and will distribute the protein ect to the part of the body that needs it. Sex and bodybuilding sport ect all can be done together stop worrying and do what you want bodybuilding and have sex

This could be a fake post, since it's full of errors.
but, if not.
I think he think's he has to dedicate his life to bodybuilding in order to become ripped, which is basicly what you have to do, in my opinion.
And he doesent think he has time for sex?
On second thought, i have no idea what he is talking about.

lol?
I've always been told (and I think it makes sense) that sex burns more calories than running or whatever..
so wouldn't sex, (assuming it's true) benefit you in your body building?

Sex is encouraged and totally healthy... I don't see how it would effect your body building or health.
Man.. Sex won't effect building muscles at all. Thats all i have to say..
